The Hedge Maze
A glorious magical world tucked away with in the safety confines of their magnificent Hedge Maze. Full of magic and wonder, strange creatures of all sizes with many unique qualities. Some had wings, others pointy ears and small magical little friends. Maybe they turned into beasts, could swim long depths. Or use magic to play games or tricks on their neighbors. Much to the dismay of their human neighbors.

Springtown a wealthy quant college town, with a fast-growing population. The streets full of nice coffee shops, and charming little businesses. A perfect little utopian society at least that's what the snobs of the town's residential Homeowner's Association would say. Every perfect little town of course comes with its downs. Being a rather ugly looking large maze of hedges that sits directly in the middle of town stretching for miles on end. The bane of the town's existence for as long as the eldest residents could remember, from people going missing, to strange noises and reports of bizarre looking occult "people" being spotted with in. It's become a rather controversial subject to the town's residents, half of the town saying to burn it down ground, others saying it should be avoided at all costs with a thick layer of brick encasing it in, and of course those who say it should just be left alone as it's vital aspect of what keeps the town entertaining.
Though at least the town people could agree one thing.
Do not enter the maze at any cost. No one has entered the maze in many years. Not since the stories surfaced regarding the current Mayor's brother went missing all those years ago. Everyone in town respected that rule, whether local or a newcomer. That was until a small group of college students decided to enter the maze one night, thinking it'd make the perfect spot to hangout and drink the night away. Choosing to believe that they were just stories and rumors to terrify the people. Little did they know that the stories were true. As they soon stumbled upon what makes the overgrown hedge the way it is. A world filled with magic and monsters safely tucked away with in the safety of the maze.

Elves, Half Elf, Humans
Elf - Elves are the most common species that resides in the safety confines of the hedges. Along with probably the most advanced out of the species. Having been blessed with strong magical capabilities they’ve helped nurture the land into what it is today. They've grown to govern over all the other species. Every full blood Elf has a fairy.

Half Elf – Only two half-Elves exist in the entire maze. They’re magic is not as powerful compared to those of full blood elves, nor do they have the ability of conjuring a Fairy companion. However, they’re more resilient towards physical attacks and have a stronger defense towards being hit by magic. They do live longer though then the average human, living to be about 160 from what they recorded.

Avian, Beast Keepers, Foxkin
Avian - A bipedal human like being with large wings and a set of tail feathers. Having immaculate eyesight, they're able to see from very far distances some even being able to see through the gaps of the hedge's protective barrier. Avians naturally live in tribes, however when one reaches adulthood the tribe will cast them aside as a self-discovery journey to find some skill of passion they could master and eventually returning to the tribe once they find it. Shoes are very controversial for them.

Beast Keepers - A shapeshifting being that can be born into any family despite the bloodline of the family having nothing to do with beast keepers. Beast keepers can remain dormant for many years some not learning that they may be a beast keeper for many years. With little signs on knowing if you are one till your first transformation. Upon the first change, their regular form will begin to alter gradually showing signs of the animal or creature that they are tied to. Such as developing wings, ears, horns, tails, etc. Each keeper can only transform in to one creature.

Foxkin A tricky spirit granted with the power of illusionary based magic, along with being class A in manipulation. Considered to be the oldest known species to have existed in the maze and surrounding area and are very vital to the essential to the wellbeing of the maze, fueling the illusionary masking over the hedge maze to help keep their worlds and lives hidden from the human town surrounding them. Along with shaping the format of the maze, so no path is ever the same the next day. However, they're also at fault for humans entering the world of the maze through the many fox dens one might leave around on the surface. Like Beast Keepers a Foxkin has two forms, a fox with plenty of tails, and their humanlike form companied by some ears and tails. Each tail represents a major event point that happened in their life.

Demon, Merpeople, Satyr
Demon - A often tyrannical devil spawn with a thirst for power. Demons have very strong abilities, and because of this are often feared by the rest of the maze civilians. Which eventually lead for some of the others to strike out on Demon kind making them now very scarce to find creature within the maze. They're most seen in fact outside the maze manipulating the towns folks and feeding of their misfortunes.

Merpeople- A half humanoid, half sea creature accompanied by a large, gorgeous tail, that takes the spot of legs. They're normally gifted beautiful singing abilities that have magical healing properties, along with the ability to manipulate water to their will. Whether its freezing it, turning it into jelly, or heating the water to a intense degree. A true force to be wreckend with if angered. Merpeople also have very delicate skin that is easy to dry out and must often hydrate themselves, or their tails may turn to legs.

Satyr - A part human, part hoofed beast creature typically of the goat variety. Practically skilled in musical wind instruments, they are able to use them to make gusts of wind, and so much more.

At least one paragraph per post, please use decent grammar, it doesn't have to be absolutely perfect. I happen to have dyslexia myself, so accidents sometimes happen with spelling.
