Greetings, and thank you for stumbling into my hastily written search thread! I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve never been any good at writing these search threads, but like anyone else with a specific craving in mind, I have little choice. So! Let’s get to it, before I bore you to death!
✧ I am a female-writer in her late twenties, and I’ve been writing for nearly two decades now. Which is a line that makes me feel incredibly old to write, but here I am, writing it. That said, I consider myself a decent writer, but I’m far from being professional. I write for fun and fun alone, but I do enjoy writing with a partner who puts effort and heart into their posts. So please, no one-liners. You don’t have to write a novel for me, but at least a couple paragraphs would be appreciated.
✧ I have seen all that is out so far of the Interview with the Vampire series, I have seen the original movie, and I have read most of the books - Blood and Gold was my last book. So I consider myself to be well-versed in the lore! Do YOU need to know as much? No. If you’ve seen the new television series, that would definitely do, but you’d earn definite brownie points if you’ve read any of the books!
✧ I am interested in playing as an original character of my own against Lestat, but I could also very happily play as Louis or an aged up Claudia. I know it’s selfish, and I do apologize, but I’m not too proud to ask to play as an oc against Lestat. I’ve loved Lestat’s character for literal years at this point in my life, and while I wouldn’t ask to play as an oc in any other fandom, my adoration for Lestat is too strong. As the children say, I am a simp for the French bastard, what can I say? My character can be male or female, given that Lestat is bisexual, but I’m 100000% fine with the relationship being platonic as well. It simply depends on what your own preferences on the matter may be!
I’ll keep it at that for now, but know that I am very open to discussing this topic! I am open to playing other vampires as well, other than Louis, if that would be more your cup of tea! All plots and ideas are on the table for this, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to me, even if it’s just to ask questions or nerd out about the Vampire Chronicles!
