Fantasy Interest check: Species building in a fantasy setting

Hi I first posted this in nation buiding but seeing that something similar was posted in fantasy already and the fact that there is atleast 10 times as much activity in this section ^^. Well I hope I am not breaking any rules :/

The idea is to have a situation, where multiple intelligent species are born at the same time due to a tabula rasa event. Then all players would participate in developing these species, trough votes and short stories from the perspective of species members and historians.
People would not control the fate of only one species, but instead trough proposals and contribution develop the histories of the species and the planet.
I am trying to find out if there is interest and if how to best coordinate this so everyone is satisfied.
I tried something similar some years back in a different forum, but could not get enough participation going, did not make it clear enough I only wanted to manage and participate and not write the thing alone and unfortunately offered to many options leading to some rather exotic and hard to write species.

Things are open for discussion but I more Imagine people playing the species, however not one species but all species. Imagine yourself as the force of history.
Every species is a figure you can move and give life, with more people comes life to the Story however you might also wrestle for control of their destinies

Basically yes however we would keep and modify a list of things people have to vote on otherwise you would be free to do what you want.

Added: Note some votes require basic prerequisites tasks to be done like culture can not be voted on until a basic language is created. Also we might choose to let certain things be determind by the dice.
