Hey, all. So this is an idea I've been considering for a long time, but am having issues coming up with a full story by myself, so I want to see if anyone wants to help me with it. I will accept a few different offers.
Idea: My character Chii (I have a full, fleshed out sheet for her that I will present upon request, but you don't have to know everything about her) is tied to the Nara clan, though not by blood. In light of Shikamaru and Temari's engagement, the Suna council has requested that she put herself forth as a candidate for an arranged marriage to Gaara, to increase the ties between Konoha and Suna. She agrees out of loyalty, and admiration for Gaara, for whom she holds some affection.
However, she is in love with Shikamaru, and realizes that she is dependent on him and his parents. This is a story of her journey to become her own person and find happiness, when she remembers little over the last five years of her life.
I have had multiple weigh ins that she is best with Shikamaru, which I agree with, but I want to see if this is something that would work. If it doesn't then it doesn't. My request is that you play Gaara and Shikamaru as needed, so you will need to have a good grasp of their characters, but the rest is a free for all. I will play as other characters too, and we will probably play the same characters (i.e. Temari, Kankuro, the council, etc.) at different times (or possibly even the same time- I'll explain further if needed), so you won't be DMing the whole thing. My aim is equal give and take.
Now, what's in it for you? As mentioned in my title, I will double, with any characters except Gaara and Shikamaru, just because that will mess with me. I will sketch a headshot of any character you ask. Hit me up if you want to see a sample sketch.
I only RP through Discord nowadays, but will take suggestions as long as it's off site, because I use my phone 90-95% of the time, and this site is not friendly with my phone. Hit me up through Discord (ChLyRi 8.0#3950), or message me through here, but if it's the latter, I might not see it for a bit.
