Welcome to the World of NYC's Finest First Responders
Fire. EMS. Police. All three with different roles and responsibilities in the city, but somehow their lives forever intermingle. Fire and EMS share the same firehouse as their base. Police shows up to investigate arson, or when a patient is the result of a fight. Sometimes, all three will be on a scene.
In New York City's 33rd district, these three occupations are even more closely intertwined. They work together, hang out after shifts together, heck, some of them even date or live with each other.
Explore the lives of these people as they navigate life, their job, and each other.
Collegiate EMS
Collegiate EMS is, well, different... It's a bunch of students helping other students, as a volunteering sort of thing. It's different than normal EMS because, well, it's college. And their calls are less vehicular accidents, and more like alcohol poisoning, broken limbs, and general mishaps.
There's the rookie who's only been on the job for a month. The veteran who's had their EMT certification since they were 16. The whacker, whose life revolves around all things EMS. Then there's the captain, and the lieutenant, who are in charge of running everything, plus passing their classes.
Not to mention the in-house, er, fraternization. There hasn't been a rule against it yet, and members of the EMS squad can't seem to stay away from each other. The calls are interesting enough, but the real drama happens in between calls.
