Howdy folks. I've been roleplaying with regularity since about 2012-2013 or so, but there's been a bit of slowness with my usual group lately so I thought I'd send out a few feelers to the ol' internet to see if I can find something else to sink my teeth into while I wait for the RP I'm in to pick up some traction again. I've actually been sick these last few days, so being able to post instead of just laying in bed making the slow descent into boredom-induced insanity would've been ideal, but my characters are sidelined to where they can't actually do anything until another scene resolves and it's just taking foreeeeeeeveeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

So anyway, here I am! I've been on similar sites before but this is my first time on RPnation so I might try to just feel my way around and see if anything snatches my interest. As far as my writing goes, I like to think it's developed nicely enough in the 4-5 years I've been doing this. I tend to be character-driven, so I always try to find voices and mentalities distinct for any given character I play, and pepper in growth and progression to develop them as the roleplay goes on. I'm a sucker for character bonds and relationships and the like (not necessarily romantic, though that's good too, just in general), so if I like the sort of dynamic our characters have expect me to totally latch on until the only way to escape is one of us killing the other in mortal combat or an assassination attempt.
Oh, and, um, as to what kind of roleplays I'm looking for, most of the stuff I've participated in has been fandom or multifandom, but I'm comfortable playing OCs and the right kind of original setting can capture my interest too. In terms of particular fandoms, right now I'm pretty big into Fate/stay night and assorted works or just TYPE-MOON in general, but while there does appear to be one or two of those RPs ongoing on the site the nature of the setting means usually they have a limited number of roles that can be played, so chances are I'll have to wait until a new one comes along. That said, multifandom was my introduction to this type of thing and I actually still have the most fun playing canon characters, so if anyone knows anything matching that description I'd be greatly appreciative if you could tip it my way.
Also sorry for the essay on what amounts to a simple introduction. At least take it as confirmation I won't skimp on post size.
