Futuristic Insert cliche scifi title here.

Connor looked at Sik, "He good, much destruction, keep cool, very good in high stress. Is very useful trait, also make man dead very well! Very good at combat heard neat slice, hand fall on ground is good work, precision of doctor, eye of killer, very useful traits! Well...also means do not piss off. Would be like, Sik...but with guns, instead of fists. Or knife, wait, no blade definitely blade, knife make different sound. May have knife. or 2. or 5. Yes, point is, no piss off pilot ...or I have to fix. Think very much he can make you un-fixable" He looked at hunter tilting his head. "Many weapons yes? I use 4, and scalpel if in medbay. or power saw. Or cauterizer! make very good improvised weapon in boarding action! Let you know for sake of security."

Sik walked up to a hologram in another room as he began to go over the most recent planets that he knew had some degree of treasure value to them. Pressing a few buttons three planets showed up, pressing a left arrow key one of the three planets grew larger as it had its gravity, size, coordinates and possible treasure value listed. "-First planet is Earth-2. While it is filled with good treasure that any human would surely pay for it is also overflowing with mutated animals, sickening diseases and the suffering inhabitants that manage to live in such a place.-" He pressed the left arrow key again another planet coming into view. "-Suapapa VI, a planet that once held sentient life which is long extinct. While the treasures here a shoe-in for archeological digs we would be running in blind as many parts of the planet are not fully explored.-" Repeating the process with the last planet that came up Sik felt a shiver shoot up his spine. "-Aphid. My homeplanet, while I am familiar with it and what areas are the best for discovery the matriarch is not too fond of visitors showing up to ask questions and dig around and if you do somehow slow the everyday working life you will executed without trial, the treasure here isn't anything special but it is almost always some sort of ancient weapon, great to sell to collectors.-" Crossing his arms and backing away from the hologram he looked to the group waiting to hear which planet would be the most popular among the given options.

Jade managed to make it on the ship no problem and strapped in just as the rest of the crew arrived, thankful to be out of that hell hole. She let out a heavy sigh leaning back against the chair before putting her weapons away and overlooking the rest of the crew from her seat. What the ever loving hell did I get myself into... she thought to her self observing the motley crew. Less than a few hours with them and they had already almost gotten her killed, her safety was never assured but at the same time she at least hoped to make it a few days with out needing another new limb. The captain was fairly intimidating over all and already proved to have a short temper as well as a complete and utter disregard for ship maintenance past the basics. The doctor had a short attention span, rambled like no ones businesses and who's medical credentials are questionable at best.

Then there was the new guy... mysterious cat thing who shows up right as the last pilot dies, is extremely good at killing and has probably a plethora of weapons with questionable origins. Something like that was meant to be kept at a distance of at least 20ft until motive and mental stability could be check. Then again given everything that happened and who shes dealing with she was probably best to just keep her distance. She glanced over to S.E.U. probably the most normal of all the crew mates and sighed. Emotionally incomplete but someone who she could understand and on some level was a lot more stable than anyone else on the ship.

She glanced over to the screen as the captain started talking about the different planets they could head two. Immediately the first was out for her. No way she would step foot in that atmosphere with as many horrible things there were for humans. Second one was a valid option.... and the third didn't sound very pleasant and death as almost assured. Which left only planet two as their best bet, at least to her.

Connor looked at the list, "Am doctor, still hate disease! Would be bad for jade too, also. Would probably not like being treated. Giving me look again, very bad look! So skip number 1 yes? yes. hmm Aphid not good choice either. In order we get, stabbed. shot, crushed, broken, umm distigrate...maybe. So no, no Aphid avoid Aphid!" he pointed number two, "Is best choice! maybe flying blind, but, not flying into siculrian plauge! Or Large nest, many people insult Sik, many people Sik will punch! Much conflict is bad idea! We go to number two, yes is best idea?"

She tensed as the ship rose, flying away from the planet. She never really had gotten used to the obsessive, in her opinion, movement that many ships provided during takeoff, landing, as well as flight; which was pretty much 24/7. As for her opinion on the plants? It was pretty much nonexistent, seeing as she really couldn't have an opinion. Something she lacked, no doubt about it, and she figured it was because of her confirmed lack of coding. It's not like it mattered much, seeing as most of the things she was asked only had two options, and even if they didn't it was simply a matter of weighing out the pros and cons. So, due to her best intuition, she decided to go along with it. "Plant two," she muttered, drifting a finger over her shoulder plate. There was a slight indent there from where the bullet hit; if the plate hadn't been there, the bullet would've ripped right through her ports and possible through any of the other components contained within her metal shell. The round had been of a high caliber, she could tell by the size of the dent. Her face formed into a scowl. It's not like the dent would do anything to harm her performance, but it was an unsightly mark that she wanted to get rid of as soon as she could. The only thing was that she didn't know how to get rid of it; she'd have to ask around, especially Jade, and see if she knew. She found herself discretely staring at the cat-creature and quickly looked away.

Sik looked to the group nodding before shutting off the hologram. "-Alright then. Suapapa IV it is.-" Walking back to the cockpit he nodded towards his new pilot. "-Suapapa IV is our destination, try to land in a clearing if you can, the planet is not inhabited and there are very few dig sites still running, most haven't been maintained in years, so avoid landing on any designated zones. Last time someone tried to they fell several thousand clicks.-" Sik explained calmly to the new pilot. "-It should only take a standard hour or two to get there from here if we move at a good speed.-" Sik exited to cockpit looking to the group. "-If you need me I will be in my quarters.-" Walking into another Hallway he turned a corner and disappeared from their sight. Reaching his quarters the door automatically scanned him and opened the door for him. Pressing a quick locking code the door wouldn't be opened unless it was Sik or Connor, the rest could knock. Moving over to a computer system in the corner of the room Sik sat down to start getting geographical maps of the area and gather info about the planet for where any ancient settlements were discovered. He didn't have long to gather the information given how it was only standard hour after all. Sik sure wished it would take a Terran hour, whose time frames were known to be amongst the longest in the galaxy.
