Matreats
Hopelessly in love with several fictional people
Hello!
My name is Matreats, or Matisse, and I'm new here!Hooray
I happened to stumble across this website during a search for a possible place to roleplay.
If you're interested, here are some things about myself:
|_---▫▪▪▫---_|
I'm involved in many fandoms, my new favorite being Voltron LD. They include (from most activity to least amount of activity):
-> Undertale (I'm very involved in the fandom, and became a Curator on the Undertale Amino a couple months back)
-> Voltron
-> Pokemon
-> Five Nights at Freddy's
-> Eldemore (does this count?)
-> Minecraft (I can't engineer Redstone or build to save my life though)
-> My Little Pony
-> Doctor Who (I've watched everything from the 9th Doctor up until the 2nd season of the 12th Doctor)
I'm also starting to get interested in the furry fandom (the good side of it)- the characters and people have caught my eye recently.
|_▫▫_|
I'm fairly shy when it comes to new things and people, though the more you get I know me, the more open and wild I am. I tend to embarrass my friends in public by accidentally saying something too loud. Once I get excited and start talking about something I love, I can go on for hours about it.
One of the biggest things about me is that I can do things, it just takes me forever. A drawing will take me 7-8 hours to finish, a detailed Minecraft house can take up to 20 hours. I lose motivation because of that.
I'm extremely non-judgemental, and very accepting of new things ideas, though I still have my own standards and morals to uphold. I am a procrastinator though, and tend to play before I work.
I love food. What more can I say? I also love to read, though the time that I once had for it no longer exists. It's hard for me to find a series that I'll sit down and read, but once I do, I'll binge read the entire thing in less than a week.
I'm also an artist. I've been drawing for years, though it only got serious last year.
Roleplaying is something that I discovered a while ago, and I started off by doing it on a creative server on Minecraft. I discovered literate and semi-literate roleplaying about a year and a half later, along with the role playing community.
I wanted to join and become a part of the community, but I just couldn't bring myself to start. I would see people with years of experience and their own roleplays and would be thoroughly intimidated by them. Everyone I saw had long OC lists and I could never find anybody that would be willing to accept someone who didn't have an OC to start off with.
I'm pretty bad at making them— coming up with a character is not my strong suit, mostly due to my lack of the ability to express my ideas in words. Tips for me would be a great help!
I'm open to most anything for role playing, except for M/M and F/F, and I usually play semi-literate. I would love the chance to be involved here! The size of this place and the amount of more experienced people makes me nervous, but I'll try to do my best!
