Inheritance Cycle - 1x1

Frost nodded in agreement to the other new rider, "It certainly was amazing…" She said softly, gazing up at the sky, well aware of little Ash perched upon her boot. As long as the little dragon was close to her, and safe, then she was fine with the little dragon wandering, "Someday….I hope." She replied, "I mean, whilst riding Aziel was amazing….I think riding with our own dragons will be even better!" She told him, smiling softly at him.

Little Ash watched Zaranth curiously, and chirped at him, her little wings fluttering excitedly as she looked at her fellow hatchling. After all, they had been hatched together, and Ash was only a little bit younger than the other dragon, so she had a right to be curious. She did, however, stay perched upon her riders boot, finding it comfortable to sit upon, and it came along with the assurance that her rider could not move without her.

Frost shook her head, "I…I don't know. Training I assume…" She said softly in reply to Leon's question, "I mean…we're riders now…." She giggled softly for a moment, noticing the other watching her dragon, "What?"

Leon nodded in agreement. "Oh, nothing sorry. She's just pretty was what I was thinking." Leon flushed as he took in Zaranth trying to gain the attention of Ash. Zaranth flared his wings and growled lowly. Swallowing down a bit of hesitation Leon decided not to intervene. Zaranth slowly took a step forward stepping over Leon's toes--who in turn flinched as at the sharp claws digging in--and sniffed at Ash. Satisfied with everything Zaranth dipped his head and began to look around, his red scales flashing in the afternoon light and watched the sky. Leon looked up along with him and felt a prickle of disappointment as he saw nothing new. Except for the occasional birds fluttering by there was nothing to watch. The wind blew at him coldly and didn't match the heat that suppressed them. For a moment he wished he had the comfort of flight to feel the wind wash past him at gods knows how many miles per hour.

"Alright, kiddos, it's been decided!" Tiren came by with his arms outstretched and with a smile played upon his lips. "Tonight there's going to be a feast held in your honor. So, in the meantime we can give you a quick tour of everything and maybe if we're lucky we can get a good glimpse at a few Riders." Mira stood behind him with a soft frown perched on her face. Leon wondered curiously what happened in their brief conversation.

Leon blushed at the mention and felt a thrill go through him. He looked away in embarrassment and ignored his Red's shrill as he butted his head against Leon's leg. A feast? For them? He could understand why, but it was just the thought of everyone gathering for two people they didn't know was...astonishing really. He tried not to look at anyone else and decided not to think about it.

Tiren looked at him. "You okay, Leon? You could hang with me if you're not comfortable with the feast."

Leon shook his head and smiled a bit. "It's not that. I'm honored really...it's just that I've never been to a feast and I don't think I'll know what to do..." Tiren blinked at him and put a hand on his shoulder.

"It'll be fine, Le, just watch what I do and don't get to flustered." He smirked. Leon tried not to notice how he gave him a nickname and Zaranth growled lowly at Tiren. "Sorry, bud. Not my fault if your Rider has a cute blush."

Mira looked up sharply and glared at Tiren. "Frost and Leon should be moving right now..." her voice was low and Tiren looked back and swallowed. "Thank you. Now in a few minutes we'll be passing by the Hedgestone. I'll tell you more about it when we get there."

((Did you want to time skip?))

Little Ash growled softly as her fellow dragon approached, but calmed and stilled as he sniffed at her, her own little wings fluttering at him proudly. She sniffed back at him curiously and, finding nothing wrong with the bigger hatchling, dipped her head back at him in respect, and looked up at the sky with him, wishing she could go up there. Crawling off her riders boot, she tried to jump into the air, flapping her tiny wings. It didn't work, and she only ended up tiring herself out, and whimpering sadly, as she looked over at her rider, who was watching the two dragons, and watched as Frost smiled warmly at her.

Frost gently scooped Ash up as Tiren spoke, and seemed scared at the idea of a feast. Large amounts of people meant more attention on the new riders, which meant more people could notice her and call her a freak, like they used to at home. She held her dragon close, watching with wide eyes.

She calmed as Mira changed the subject, and nodded quietly, looking to Leon

((Sure,,,,Where to?)

((I'm going to skip to where they're being introduced to the new leader.))

The day rushes by so fast, Leon barely has enough time to notice everything else. The small details he does take in seem private and somewhat intimate to him as he watches and listens to everything around them. He takes his time thought--or at least he tries-- and doesn't say much at first only raising his hand like a dutiful school boy to ask questions. They don;t seem to mind and Leon begins to wonder what else is in store for them. It's odd at first wondering where everything is and how everything fits on such a huge scale and Leon thinks to himself as they pass by a large skull of a long dead Dragon as to why they haven't seen another Dragon. A live one other than Mira and Tiren's.

"Tiren? Where are all the other Dragons?" His voice is small yet light. He doesn't want to seem out of place and it's Mira that answers him.

She looks at Tiren and smiles knowingly. "Our leader decided that you should meet him first before being surrounde by the others. are you scared, Leon?"

He shakes his head fervently. "Of course not! It's just that...well...I thought that there would be Dragons and Riders everywhere..."

"Oh, you're right of course. The place is crawling with the big Beasts and their Riders. It's more of a...letting you get used to everything first kind of thing to be honest." Tiren answers him with a shrug and yawns. Mira glares at him and rolls her eyes.

Frost hardly talked as they moved, gazing around at her surroundings, as her little dragon did the same in her arms. Ash had, in fact, crawled back up onto Frost's shoulder when they had started to move, and had moved into her riders arms when the ride had become uncomfortable in that position, for rider and dragon both. So instead the little one had curled into Frost's arms, where she was completely safe from harm. Both were wondering the same thing as Leon, why hadn't they seen any other riders and dragons that day? Were they all busy, in a meeting of some sort, or did they just not come over to this part of the island. Opening her mouth to ask something, her teeth clicked back together as Leon spoke instead, and she listened quietly to what they were saying. She was slightly annoyed that they seemed to think that the new riders would be scared, but after flying so high, Frost felt that nothing could dull her mood. Except the heat of course, and the girl stayed in the shade as much as she could, in order to make sure she didn't overheat or get burned, as she managed to do both easily on a warm, sunny day
