thank you, we are glad to hear it! :> i'm looking forward to this as well!Amazing premise! Looking forward to seeing where this goes
on the character sheet form, there will be a spot for "occupation" rather than ultimate talent! beyond that, the character can be "the best" in their field if you deem it fitting, but this doesn't necessarily have to be the case.Just out of curiosity,as you're referencing Danganronpa: do you expect all the major characters to be the equivalent of Ultimates,or at least distinguished in their field? Or will that not be what this story is about?
hey like what our gm has said right above, it's not a requirement for them to be the best of the best. so rest assured there aren't any limits to the extent of what they can / can't do. since it is more of a historical setting, something like a geisha, samurai, or a sailor would be great examples of occupations characters can take on.Just out of curiosity,as you're referencing Danganronpa: do you expect all the major characters to be the equivalent of Ultimates,or at least distinguished in their field? i am IN
thank you for your interest, we'd be glad to have you two onboard! any ideas so far? i'm excited to see what people will come up with.I love me some Danganronpa. Interested
no worries! but this is a pretty solid concept so far. if you do end up deciding to join, it'd be interesting to see what direction you take this character, personality/social-wise :> its a good thing you already thought of why they'd be labeled as a prime suspect, too, since that will also be a part of the character sheet. which leads me to segway into my next point! My participation in this is still tentative right now,but I had the idea that the character I play might be a sailor from [generic fantasy European country]. Something like being the bodyguard/lieutenant of an ambassador of a trading company who wanted to negotiate with the king of Usaginomiya to mark out land and local labor to build and operate warehouses in the ports. And maybe the king wasn't fully amenable to the terms initially set forth, but invited the ambassador to the palace for further negotiations. The bodyguard came to inspect the palace in advance, and was present when the king was murdered.
So the king's reluctance to sign the trade agreement was taken as a possible motive, and she was arrested.
awesome! ^o^Might be interested in this!
of course! actually, when talking about the setting, we were hoping it would be something major enough to impact the characters themselves, compared to if, say, the characters were all in a more modern period. not only for backstory purposes, but the group dynamic as a whole, since back then there was a larger emphasis on jobs and social classes. 0:poi San
!!! i already have some ideas for my character/s (considering occupations like calligrapher, courtesan, or biwa player).
i've been wondering on additional details regarding the setting, which would probably be a heavy basis on the characters' backgrounds and such. for instance, the specific era in japanese history the story takes place in (assuming it is set in japan)
