Hey guys. I'm excited to get things started. Here are some links we'll be needing for characters, ooc, and other stuff.

Characters:
In The Wild (Characters)

OOC:
Realistic/Modern - In The Wild (OOC)

There are a couple things to go over before we get started on characters, and that is what I'm looking for. This is going to be a smaller sized group rp (4-5 players including myself) and I wanted to let you know I'm taking the first 4-5 character sheets that are of the highest quality. You'll be able to read more about it in the character thread. Just know that characters shouldn't take more than a few days to be submitted. Thank you for reading, and if you have any problems or questions please ask me here or in the OOC Thread.

Hello everyone. Now that everyone is ready, we can get started. Shortly I'll be posting a starter, but in the meantime, you can make sure you've read the rules and expectations under the character sheet. The reply order is as follows: Unchosen Unchosen , Moka-chan Moka-chan , Vudukudu Vudukudu , Reticent Reticent , and BlackOrchid02 BlackOrchid02
One more thing. For instances where characters are apart from each other, other someone is away from the main scene, they will write so at the end of their reply and their reply in the reply order will be skipped. For example: Sean left the group to gather wood for the fire. [Exit Scene] (This is just an example, gathering wood shouldn't be longer than one reply before returning to the group.) Then when Sean returns, he will begin his reply in the next cycling of the reply order with [Enter Scene] If you have questions about this or need clarification DM me. When you leave a scene and want to rejoin it, you'll need to notify the player that is after you in the reply order and have them wait until you reply so they don't skip over you.
Thanks for reading and I am so excited to get things started!

With his trustful black backpack and rolled up tent in grip, Sean smiled and walked out to the car; a 2008 Toyota 4Runner. Outside, the trunk was wide open with the various young-adults' belongings and supplies. After he added his own to the pile, he closed the trunk with a thudding click and entered the driver's seat, setting his keys in the ignition, and awaiting the rest of his friends to be ready for the trip. Most of them he knew from late highschool and had continued to keep in touch with them, but Ryan he knew the best of the bunch, as they had met when his brother died. Otherwise, friendships where here to develop and bloom. Until his friends had entered, Sean would fiddle on his phone.

Helen zipped up her backpack and gave a final stretch before shouldering it and heading out of the small apartment. She knew the rest of the group fairly well, well enough to go on a camping trip with, but wanted to deepen her bonds with them. This trip would be the perfect way to get to know the group better, and it would be a good way to get out of her comfort zone by camping in general. Double checking to make sure she packed her glasses she headed out, walking over Sean she gave him a smile and wave, he was also someone she wanted to get to know better. Adding her bag to the pile, she had waited a bit longer to make sure she had everything, she began stretching lightly. If they were going to be sitting crammed together for however long then she definitely needed stretch.

Ryan tried not to think too much about how this trip had started. It was something of a tradition now, he supposed. Him and Sean had started it three years ago, making this their fourth trip. In the wake of the Stage 4 leukemia that had taken his younger brother Kyle from both of them, they'd both needed to get away. Ryan had always had a soft spot for Sean - he'd done a lot to make Kyle's last year easier for him. He'd been a good friend through the worst of it, and they'd started this little camping trip in Kyle's honor. The kid had always loved the park they went to, and Ryan had found a quiet, rarely disturbed spot in the woods to make a little memorial out of rocks. Each of them had a word etched into them, a painstaking process using a chisel and hammer that Ryan took up every year in advance of the trip. Each rock had one of Kyle's last words to his older brother scratched into it - "Fuck this shit, see you later dude." That meant three more trips to finish the line, and hopefully another year had gone by without the arrangement being disturbed.

Hauling a large blue and white cooler, as well as his camping pack with this year's stone tucked away carefully inside, Ryan came up alongside the 2008 Toyota and gave its rear left corner a loud rap from his left knuckles. "When are you gonna junk this old bastard, Sean?" He called out, then popped the trunk open and hefted the cooler into it. His gaze landed on the blonde a few feet from the car and he put on a quick grin. "Sup, Helen?" He asked, not waiting for an answer before stepping up onto the tailgate of the car and heaving himself over into the back row of seats. Once he'd situated himself again, he turned around and reached into the cooler to retrieve a beer. "Cheers, mate." He murmured, glancing upward before using the bottle opener built into the bill of his hat to uncap the Coors.

With music playing in her ears, Winona slung her backpack across her shoulders as she walked to the car. She gave a small wave and nod in acknowledgment to everyone who was there. Winona didn't really have a strong friendship with these people but she was invited, so why not right? That's what she was thinking as she looked into the car, she was hoping to get a row of the seats to herself so she could stretch but she also assumed they would be switching around so there wasn't one person constantly driving. Winona bent over so her hair could hang as she tied it up in a top bun, straightening back up she got a good look at each person she would be traveling with. Sean seemed safe enough, her life was in his hands so she didn't have much of a choice but to trust him. Helen looked nice, she gave Winona a vibe that reminded her of one of her friends from track during high school. She wasn't so sure about Ryan, he was the person she knew the least and to Winona, he seemed alright, just a bit too bouncy and loud for her taste, like a college frat boy. Then again, she didn't really know these people besides Sean and that was ok with her, she was...somewhat...eager to learn more about them on this journey to the woods.

Sean looked away from his phone at Helen and gave her a quaint wave before being knocked from his thoughts by the thudding of Ryan's knuckles against the car. He rolled his eyes and responded. "It'll probably break from you beating it up before I find the money to replace it, so be careful back there big guy." He ended with a teasing smile and placed his phone in the center console before turning the keys in the ignition, starting the car. It hiccupped for a few moments, but soon came the iconic rumble of the engine. With the car started, Sean called out to Helen and Nona. "Alright ladies, let's go. I don't wanna set up the tent in the dark and neither do you."
