The Fire Within
I just had a wonderful idea for a RP so I really am wanting to find a partner for it.
Medieval Japanese-styled fantasy setting. The Order of Shadow (Kagerenai) is one of the three largest ninja clans in the land, but unlike the usual teachings of Balance, the follow an demonic Entity "Kage", the Shadow. It has no physical form on the mortal plane, only able to interact with people by illusions with shadows, but holds a tremendous power, feeding off the blood spilt by those who follow it.
The Clan Leader only becomes such as soon as they agree to become a conduit for the Shadow; the leader loses almost all traces of his humanity, leaving only primal instincts behind, such as rage in exchange of allowing the followers use the Shadow's powers; meld into the shadows, travel through them, everything you can think of, though the perfecting of this technique takes years.
Though following an evil entity, the clan is not purely evil. They follow the teaching of "True Assassin kills one to save many", fight for their homeland with every possible mean, not caring about the consequences, as long as it is beneficial in the end; very much ends justify the means kind of style, while others seek balance and justice.
The country is ravaged by a murderous duo, an Oni who has bewitched a human mage to follow his bidding to kill, through it, she has become impossible to catch through normal means. The Shadow Clan hunts this duo, the Master takes upon his favorite students to find him.
You would require to play the master, who would be preferably male, lacks many emotions and due to acting as a conduit have red glowing eyes with black sclera; rest is much up to you.
My character is one of his star students, who just barely survived the gasp of the oni 4 years ago. Given shelter and purpose by the Master, she dedicates her life to the order and hunting the duo.
If you like the plot, here are some requirements I have for you as a roleplayer:
-18+ year old. I am not comfortable with minors, sorry.
-open to violence, gore, dark and mature themes. Triggers and such must be made known beforehand
-have decent spelling and grammar. Mistakes happen, but try your best and don't make me decode the DaVinci Code
-absolutely no one liners. Ever.
-plot with me; I have many ideas and twists, but that doesn't mean that all of it should fall to me.
-I only roleplay in PMs, Discord or Email. I prefer the latter two.
