Observer of Reality
Over the last several months, I have been working toward the completion of an (primarily) original Multiverse of sorts, complete with its own set of initial starting Universes and Timelines. That (somewhat fragmented) effort, and its result(s), can be viewed here:
Beta Multiverse
In short, a Multiverse is the collection of all possible realities (Universes that are already present) and reality simulations (Universes that aren't represented and are currently statistical possibilities being played out over time). These Universes can all have varying initial conditions, and varying degrees of similarity/difference to one another, depending upon the initial conditions (ex., the Big Bang). In this case, each of the Universes presented here will have their own version of the planet Earth, with varying histories (dependent upon factors that develop within each Universe). In addition to this, each Universe has infinitely many timelines, which represent the numerous choices and events that could occur all along the course of time, for that one Universe. In this case, we have four Universes, with 1-2 timelines each available for RP-based story-telling.
This particular group of four Universes is the very beginnings of a fictional Multiverse, that of which is in need of expansion. In other words, this entire project is a Massively Up-Scaled World-Building effort, targeted at further developing already-existing stories. As such, I have decided to open the door for third-party involvement. This will be handled with the addition of more (or yet another in the case of MU-0) Timelines to the main Universes. As of now, there are three (technically four) main Universes:
1) The 8-Light Universe (MU-0)
- This is the main universe that is under development, and needs the most attention. It is a time-travel experiment of sorts, which expands upon the concepts conceived while working on the years-old TF-0 Universe. As such, this one should come off as a bit more polished. To add to the benefits, this effort has actually been left open-ended, for later additions to the story lines. This allows for new characters and events to be produced on a more consistent basis, with less risk of writer's block. Continuity can be preserved while expanding this universe more easily. That is why this Universe is the preferred one for any RP action currently. This is also the most developed one. However, there are two other options. NOTE :: IF YOU FIND ANY OF THE PROTAGONISTS TO BE A BIT OP FOR YOUR LIKING, PLEASE EXAMINE THE ANTAGONISTS AND CORPORATE ENTITIES IN THIS UNIVERSE AS WELL
2) Massivecraft Expansion (FA-0)
- This Universe was created solely for use on the Massivecraft factions RPG server, as a slight re-imagining of a specific character from Universe MU-0 (guessing whoever this is will be left up to you the reader to figure out
. However, it went flat shortly after it was launched. Due to technical difficulties exhibited (in simply attempting to register with this entry on the main website), this Universe/'Multiverse Entry' has gone stagnant. While being an interesting story line to create, it was ended a while ago, and needed a lot of work/development. As such, dropping it in its infancy only made it more difficult to recover this lost Universe (if this even counts as an official Universe). It is not recommended that anyone add to this.
3) Transformers: Micromasters (TF-0)
- This Universe, being the OG of all the written Universes listed here, features two timelines, which interact and intersect at different times during this individual rewrite of the Transformers story. Most of the content in this is based upon G1 cartoons and comics, with some modern elements. The story line starts off as a monolithic list of events, but later breaks off into Story/Plot Arcs (this style went on to be used in MU-0). All-in-all, this Universe is the closest to complete in terms of story line and internal mechanics. Most of the story progression has already been planned out to a finite end-point, leaving only the events and character interactions in between open for third-party intervention. This entry has the second largest amount of content between the three Universes. Since this entry counts as Fandom, any interest in this should be saved for the Fandom entry of this post (when the time comes).
4) 'The Ugly Duckling' (PA-0)
- This one is a Pokémon-based Universe where a new type exists - the Quantum type. However, this one is the least developed, and only has a single file to its name. A single Fakémon. Atomaton. To add insult to injury, this one isn't even under the same folder as the rest, since it was mostly just an afterthought. But, if there are people out there who want to do a Fandom RP on this, I won't stop them.
I apologize for how lengthy the intro was - it was done this way to provide an adequate basis for those who want to know what to expect out of each entry. With this introduction out of the way, the primary focus will be on MU-0. If you want to, you can also ask about the other two in-passing, but they need to be handled in their own threads for true, full-on discussion. Let's get started.
Any stories, characters, or other content created in relation to MU-0 on this forum will be accounted for as either the 6th timeline/story-line in the Story folder, or suggestions/additions to the main Universes (edits to the already-existing content). Your name will go on all content you create - no questions. Any stories and/or characters created through RP are bound to both the canon that precedes them and the rules of RP Nation. In addition to this, you may create new events/stories collaboratively - as long as you aren't breaking the rules of RP Nation. Any suggestions pertaining to already-existing canon/story-lines can't be done through RP unless it involves more than one user on this website (ie., if you need/want to use an OC or idea that belongs to someone else on this website). In that case, you'll need to coordinate with whoever you're working with, and have the RP out in a separate thread. You can then link it under this thread. This thread, however, is for people who are generally willing to help expand this Multiverse (or MU-0 more so). Once again, your username will be connected/associated with your work - credit must be given.
FYI, the reason for why this isn't the 5th timeline is because of the fact that this Multiverse has been used on another forum in the past (which counts as the 5th timeline - alternate). But, that one hasn't moved along yet. It will in enough time.

Last thing, I promise. The art style I've been working on for this is primarily anime-based. If you feel inclined to do artwork (greatly appreciated), feel free to use your own style if it's too difficult to do anime/manga based illustration. However, if you feel more like showing off, feel free to do that as well. But, please post your content in the correct places before linking it back here.
