Multiple Settings In desperate need of a slow burn...

Hey guys! I'm not great at coding, so forgive me.

I'm looking for a role-play that starts with friendship.
And I mean friendship.
Not God-you’re-so-hot-let's-get-down-to-it-in-a-few-posts.
Like maybe not even have a relationship because it just... doesn't happen.

I mean slow burn. Slooooooooow burn.

Looking for mature characters with pasts that affect their current personality.

I've got a few places to start but I'd like some partner input.
I don't mind doubling eventually but after our characters get established
I'm looking for MxF with me as the latter, you as the former. What relationship you would choose
after that would be up to you.

Preferably modern, though I'm not opposed to historical if it's convincing enough. ^^
