The Kruliens were a very wealthy family and one of the early colonial families in America. They were the typical family of four consisting of the father(Jones), the mother(Alice),the son(Marshal), and the daughter(Bethel). They were prominent roles in the Salem witch trials in which they were some of the people encouraging it and even spread it. The father was a writer and had spread the propaganda around the whole state. They were truly some of the scum of the Earth in every way;belittling everyone around them, buying more land just so that others would have to buy it from them, and even controlling the politics of the town after blackmailing the leader of the town to force him to let them decide what goes on and how. They were cruel leaders, wanting everything they wanted exactly how they said and if someone had dared to defy them they were forced out of the colony. They viewed the world as if it was made for them and tried to make it into something that only a Krulien would enjoy. Of course this world did not include anyone who was different from them in any way such as foreigners, slaves, and of course Immortals.
It was they daughter Bethel who had first discovered the existence of Immortals after falling in love with one of them known as Hank Maden. He grew intimate with the daughter and the rest of the family approved seeing as this man appeared to be to the perfect man for Bethel. However after about 5 years of living together the man had decided that it was time to tell them the truth about him and had revealed the world of Immortals to them. They had soon out cased him and Bethel had abandoned him and had killed their child they had bared together out of raged,fear, and disgust. This had left him heart broken and distraught at the death of his only son had been by the woman he loved. After telling the town about the existence of Immortals they had dismissed them and viewed them all as crazy lunatics. After all they were the people who also spread the Salem witch trials. They then decided to take the matters into their own hands and had tracked him down for years upon years until they had found him once again in the Spanish territory. They had waiting until he went into his cottage home before they had grabbed and kidnapped him forcing him to be chained up against a tree and they tried killing him in every way they knew how to no avail. So after much thought and discussion they had decided to study him to know the characteristics of his species. They had set him free while he slept and had secretly followed him around where ever he went studying his movements, his walk patterns, his eating habits, even the way he spoke was recorded into their notebook. Eventually they had thought that they had enough information gathered after decades of research and had planned on attacking him. In the night they had ran throughout the village burning down every house in sight. This part was just a distraction.They did not care about the lives they had ruined in the process as they thought that it was justifiable and that the means made up for the reward. They had used this to distract Hank to flee the village and it worked. While he tried fleeing the village each member had made sure to cover all the exits so that he could not get away each with a weapon in hand and a large amount flames behind them. Once Hank had went out the East exit he was met by his ex lover Bethel and her father Jones. Once there the other two members had started running to them while Jones and Bethel had tried setting him on fire and shooting him with their rifles in the eyes so he would not see. However because of his advanced healing he was able to shake it off with ease and went on the offensive quickly. He had over powered Bethel and killed her with her own knife and then moved to the father. Jones was stronger than Hank but he was able to use his his speed to good use and quickly hit him with several attacks to the chest and head causing him to fall back into the flames he himself had created. Next was Alice who tried killing herself along with him by pushing him into the fire and sub-missing him under her while they were engulfed in the flames. The son who had been watching this had assumed he had died in the fire with his mother as well and had quietly said a prayer in her name. His prayer was cut short however as he had seen Hank rise from the ashes and fire that had covered the city and Marshal looked him right in the eyes which screamed of all the horrid things that Hank would do to him if he was able to catch him. So he ran. Far away and faster than he ever had before. He had settled down in a home about 490 miles away from the village and had never seen Hank again.
He married a woman with decent looks and continued his family line. He had tried telling her about how they would raise their children to kill all the Immortals and to get revenge on what Hank had done to his family and naturally his wife thought he a fool and feared him, so soon after she tried leave him. He would not have this happen as he needed a child to bare his family's legacy and so he raped the woman brutally penetrating her for his own selfish desires and had kept her in a secret prison-like room locking the door so that she could not escape. To her dismay she became pregnant with the child of Marshal. After months of being trapped inside the room,only being able to eat due to a plate of food he had given her every so often so that she would not starve to death and giving her water through a small cup. She had tried killing herself by not eating or drinking but she could not bare the pain and subdued to her own needs of survival. Once it was time to give birth to her child he was the one who delivered the baby while having his wife chained to the wall and her two legs spread a part and tied with a piece of rope to each corner of the bed so that she could not resist him. After the birth of Marshal's son he had taken the baby, locked the door again, grabbed whatever he could, and ran to a doctor. The doctor gave him all the advice needed for raising a kid and he had also taught him a lot about health issues that could happen. After this he had went into the carriage and went off into the distance so far that they eventually reached the original colony that he had lived in when he was a boy. Luckily the house was intact and empty so he decided to raise the boy the place that he himself had grown. He had beaten the child often to instill in him a toughness much needed and raised him as he saw fit, a threat to the Immortals. He had told his son all about his experiences with them and had convinced him that any action taken from him must be geared towards the ultimate demise of the Immortals. He also taught his son to denounce God as he felt that he had betrayed him and his family and had believed that if he was real, he would not create such a monster such as them stopping his belief all together. His son was given all the best things a boy at that time could have and had taught him how to gain political power and economic control. And after 19 years he was able to get a good education and gotten a job in writing like his late grandfather before him. His father soon died at the age of 76 after he got his first promotion and this was when he had set out on his adventure and journey to kill Hank and the Immortals using all the notes that his father left behind. However he had never been able to find him in his lifetime and instead repeated the cycle with his own son. At that point the cycle continued with each son growing up just like the last, all near mirror images of Jones until 1831 when the first son in more than a century had been able to finally catch find Hank. He did not realize it was him before, as while the notes were accurate and the description matched almost perfectly, he could not be 100% sure it was him until he tested. So he did. He had broken into Hank's home and had shot him with a rifle and watched him heal confirming not only the existence of Immortals but also the existence of multiple ones. The reason this is is because it was not Hank that he had initially shot, but another Immortal instead that had similar features to that of Hank known as Jerry. William Jr.(the descendant of Marshal who had shot him) had then told him of his past and how his family will continue to hunt them down and destroy every last one of them before being murdered himself by Hank.
Hank then realized that he is the cause of this but shook off the threat like it was nothing. Hank continued to wonder the country and living his eternal life. However William's son who was just 9 years old at the time was able to see everything threw the window outside and had continued his father's legacy and the legacy of his family writing down all the information gained that night. Decades went by with every so often a Krulien would be lucky enough to actually find Hank and very few actually able to live to tell the tale.
This all changed during the 1970's. During this time a Krulien was actually able to successfully catch Hank and force him into a secret chamber in Cuba. She had used her wealth to buy this private island and guards to keep he in there for as long as needed. He was the lab rat that they needed and the sole reason that they were able to find a way to kill the Immortals in the first place. What seemed to be over a thousand possibly even tens of thousands of experiments done on Hank they were able to create a new element, one that is not only deadly to Immortals but also safe to Humans as well. Luckily it was not Hank who had been the first to experience such a deadly weapon but his long time friend and colleague Jerry who was killed trying to save Hank from their clutches after 4 decades of searching. His death was not in vain as he was able to get Hank out of the facility and Hank tried locating every last Immortal he knew, because he knew Jerry was not the only Immortal. He had met many more in his travels around the country and had even formed friendships with them. He had known that he had to contact them all and warn them about the impending threat to all of their lives and their loved ones as well.Sadly Hank was not the only Immortal they had captured. They have one more. However he was far more dangerous than any other Immortal they had information on before. They called him Immortal: W. He was so dangerous that even Hank had been afraid of him so they had relocated in far, far away from the rest of the world, another secret facility within the oceans of Antarctica surrounded by titanium steel walls and several cameras ,too small for the human eye to see so that he could not break them ,scattered across the room.

Now that you know about the history of the Kruliens. I do not want to spoil the plot by telling you about the current Krulien but I will say that there are currently 3 alive.
