I'm uploading images from my PC into my posts, but when I go to edit those posts again, all images turn into linked attachments? Is there a way around this?

Attatchments have always been a bit iffy. Try going to the attatchment link, copying the url then using that as the image, or you can host it somewhere like the site's gallery or Imgur and link it from there.

I'm not using linked images from a different site though. I'm just using the upload button and doing it directly from my computer. It actually looks like attachments turn back into images when I click save. It just appears that when I edit multiple times, all previous images turn into attachments while I'm editing, and I can't see them in the editor. It's weird, but it's meh.

As I said, attatchments are iffy. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, sometimes they just act weird.
You can't copy a post with attachments over since the attachments are in the previous post.

The image of the island is now a link but it doesn't show the pic and it only shows the rp fully when i click on edit i'm i barking up the wrong tree?

Are you uploading the image and clicking full image?

i transferred the pic from anime pics it was working fine till just now not sure about anything else

There's two ways to use images. You can link it using the image button or upload it directly to RPN from your device. Try saving the image and then uploading it. Should work then.
