i've noticed when I post an image, it posts half the link rather than the image itself. I use the "Insert other media" option and it STILL does it. Idk what to do and im kinda tired of re-looking for pictures :/

Some of the images are fixing themselves after they updated some server things, I believe. You should be able to see your images soon.

Same thing with me. My images that I had to reupload as attachments because the image links weren't working are not longer showing on some of my character sheets. It's frustrating but hope it is resolved with the...what third...server switch?

So is there any word on when this is going to get fixed? There was no solution last time other then fixing them yourselves. Are we seriously going to have to do that again!?
At least ASCII art is not affected.

One of the problems I have noticed is that my jpegs have been turned into .png files. That may be part of the problem. I redid my images as jpegs again and they showed up.

What exactly do you mean? I have images uploaded directly to the site. When I click insert image. It just breaks when I save/comment.
If I try to just use the link and let it format, it just turns back into a broken link.
Only images I have used that work, are ones i uploaded to this site imgsafe.org but that website hasnt been working for days either. Tried Steemimg.com but that doesnt work either (RPN turns them back to links upon saving).

.jpeg and .png are file types for images. What Mitheral seems to be experiencing is that his .jpeg images are converting into .png images.
If you're having issues uploading the images directly, try copy and pasting the URL into the editor. Often times, the image will pop up after a few seconds. At least you have all of your images saved onto your computer. Some people are having to refind their images. =(

And THATS what it has been doing when I link the URL ever since the update. All img hosting sites do this to me on RPN.

If hosting sites aren't working, try a different source. Right click and hit 'Google search this image'. There are bounds to be hundreds of copies of the image you're looking for.

You misunderstand. It is everywhere. I cannot post an image from anywhere. Nowhere from google. Not to mention the image I'm trying to use is an OC drawing that only I have lol.

I've seen it happen on so many posts. Pictures suddenly disappeared, most those that are private, my own personal images and I have not posted anywhere else, so I can't use google search for them.

It's very odd. One of my users in my RP can actually post a decent amount of images without problem (some still break for him, but he fixed an image I spent like an hour trying to get to come up) so it seems to be only affecting some of us? I'm waiting it out like suggested, but just hope the images pop up again, and I don;t have to go through the tediousness of replacing them all.
Interestingly enough, I used this hosting site imgsafe.org last time images broke and all those images still stand proudly. BUT that site is now down and haven't been able to get to it for days ;_:

Most images I see are broken. Double checked on my other devices just to make sure it wasnt a problem on my pc, but even my phone and tablet are showing the same broken images

I'm just hoping they will actually come back this time. Mine stayed broken links last time. Not one image "fixed" itself.
