HEYA!! I'm a casual-literate roleplayer based in the UK with some 1x1 openings goin' down. I'm a huge fan of Medieval Fantasy (and a huge sucker for Romance), so if that's not your cup of tea geddouttahere nerd. Generally, I'd call myself a pretty bubbly (very excitable), social person. I love talking about plots and thinking up things together for characters so please don't hesitate to ask!! Usually, I post at least once per week, although some quick paced roleplays might throw me off a little so I'd prefer a chill partner who doesn't take it to heart too much c:
I'm often in for MxF pairings with me being the male but I don't mind playing the female if it works with the plot! I really would prefer someone who can manage 2-3 paragraphs per post to keep it interesting ^^
Likewise, if you feel my responses are lacking or want to give me a poke for being lazy, don't shy away! I'm not gonna bite your head off or anything :p (I might but idk, full moons are sumthin). I should drop a side note that I again adore the historical sides of things!!! VICTORIAN AESTHETIC IS THE ONLY AESTHETIC, BLESS BRAM STOKER.
wow look plot
A Travelling Soldier [Fantasy Medieval]
Once a soldier, always a soldier. Walking where the wind takes him, belonging to the once feared and respected Holy Army of Roheus as a Paladin. His country fell, his ranks crumbled and he was left an unwanted survivor. There is nothing honourable when you outlive the deaths of comrades. Yet there are those who wish to see him dead. The ones of the new religion and a flourishing infant Empire want to scrape what remains of Roheus into the pile of those whom have fought, lost, and been forgotten. Nevertheless, a holy man is bound to help those he can, even if it may seem like hope is all but lost.
How the Rain Dances [Fantasy Medieval]
Have you witnessed the rain? Not from a window or hiding beneath the branches of a tree, yet standing amongst the downpour whilst the chill sets your bones. The air is thundering, but each breath seems clean. How much does it cost to wash away sin? A King standing on the precipice of war, his Kingdom old and proud enters a peace treaty to avoid conflict on the desirable note that he marry the eldest, eligible daughter of the neighbouring country. Known for his temper and the death of his previous wife and firstborn child, suspicions and lies cloud his court and reputation. Trust no one, not even him. Mesmerised by the autumnal rainfall, melancholy in his lone rule.
To Love the Crown [Fantasy Medieval]
How can you love illness? The youngest princess of a rich Kingdom suffers from her mother's condition, falling sickly for months at a time. As a guard posted at her doorway, he slowly comes to know and learn of the young noble and how her life is confined to one small room with physicians and books. People say shes possessed, speaking in whispers along the corridors that it's all the cause of the devil himself. But the man in charge of protecting her finds himself tripping head over heels. A pauper to a royal.
The Most Expensive Thing to Thieve. [Fantasy Medieval]
Northmen. The word means different things to a variety of people. Mostly, it means raiders, killers, defilers and pillagers. Haunting the coasts and stealing whatever they can get their hands on. To the trading towns, however, the Northmen are some of the best merchants to buy and sell with. It's without doubt that when the Northmen, during a raid on a village, find a woman of a rich estate staying overnight in an inn that they take her too for a ransom. How much can some men pay for the safe return of a child? It's business. Business until it becomes personal and when the thing you have to steal happens to steal something from you in the meanwhile, complications arise. What would you give to keep something close or let it go?
The Woodsman's Woman [Fantasy Medieval]
He's been alone for what seems like a lifetime, preferring the reclusive nature of being an unnamed labourer. Work, eat, drink, sleep. Nothing more, nothing less -- a man with a military past and burns on his arms. In his solitude, he encounters a wounded Nymph (of any sort) and manages to gain the wild woman's trust before aiding her. Throughout their challenges and tribulations, it soon becomes apparent, he cares for her far more than he should a spirit of the forest.
Call the Doctor! [Victorian Historical Fantasy]
London, 1860. The industrial revolution is fully in swing, the air thick with smog and the Thames smells no better than an empty chamberpot. A young woman, fighting social stigma and a poor upbringing is left to her own devices in a world of corruption and suffering. Her life, however, becomes far more interesting when she runs into the Doctor. Doctor Harlington of the Whitechapel Clinic, a dishevelled, sarcastic, and brutish ex-military surgeon turned general practitioner. Late one night, both see something which shouldn't exist. Pulled into a world of madness, monsters, and the hideous underbelly of Victorian London, there's something lurking beneath the streets. Can a flower girl and an alcoholic with a scalpel do anything? Or are they doomed to fall by false accusations, threatening letters in the post, and the shadow which lurks beneath the lamppost on Berner Street?
A Lord and his Lady [Victorian Historical]
Can you imagine wedding one of England's most desirable bachelors? No? Well not to fear, for John St Clair can't either. Born the black sheep of the family, spending his time in opium dens and travelling the world on his parent's paychecks, John is drawn back to earth with a threat of being cut from the inheritance unless he is to wed. Being the only child and sole inheritor of the family fortune, it's up to him to finally see the ways of maturity. Thus, his mother decides the only medicine for a less than sought after drunkard is to arrange a courtship with one of the most well-known and prestigious families in London. It's up to him not to lose the match of the century and see whether a woman can truly be his voice of reason, or will she be influenced by his restless nature and get caught up in his unquenchable thirst for adventure past the old shires of Britain?
