Hi! As the title says, I'm new here, and wasn't really sure how to get started or involved with anything, so I thought I'd just do this and see how it works out.
Anyhow, here's the part where I do my best to list stuff regarding me and how I role play and such. Bear with me, I'm doing this all on a phone, so there may or may not be mistakes.
What I do: While I won't say anything since that's not quite true, I still have a very wide variety of things I'm open to doing. I kinda shy away from fandom and realism (Not modern mind you, just realistic situations), but I'm not necessarily against them. It's best to just make a request or suggestion and I might be interested
How I do it: Again, I'm open to many possibilities. I started off scriptive and moved to descriptive, so I'm fine with either of those. I've never really done first person before, not online at least (Offline I tend to at times, since I'm basically acting out my character), but I could give it a try if you want. My replies can range from a few sentences or less, to a few paragraphs or more, and there are times where I'll just draw a blank and can't quite make a good reply, so please keep that in mind. It can be difficult for me to make my replies a consistent length.
Non-RP related things to note: I must warn that my online status can be rather inconsistent, so please bear with me on that. If I am online, I may still be off and on, as I'm usually doing something else as well. I'm also almost always on via my phone, so the speed and ease of which I do things is often kinda limited.
EDIT: My home internet can also be rather slow, and my phone has all kinds of little technical issues.
RP related things to note: I'm not good at canon things, whether they be character or stories. Stories I might be able to work with in the right circumstances, but as for characters, I'm usually not too comfortable playing them, as it can be difficult to remain true to the character. Sometimes they might make guest appearances and such in certain role plays (ones that allow multi-universal interactions at least), but doing it consistently is notably trickier in most cases. This is one of the primary reasons I tend to not do fandom based RPs. However, I can be good at following certain guidelines and such, so I might be more willing to do a fandom based RP if you're willing to take charge and basically be able to determine what I can and can't do.
Some of the content (or a lot, depending on the theme of the RP) in my RPs can be rather mature, such as dark, violent, twisted, stuff like that. If these bother you, let me know and I'll try to avoid them. It almost never involves anything of sexual nature, as that's something I've always kinda avoided.
In some cases, certain things in my role plays can make little to no sense, sort of stepping into, shall we say, Deadpool territory. This often depends on the character and/or role play, and, combined with various jokes and references, can distract from more serious aspects of a role play. If you're more for serious role plays rather than ones that can be crazy and comedic, let me know and I'll try and keep things serious.
Now that that's out of the way, on to the next part.
What I'm looking for in a RP partner: Just about anything goes really, as long as you're not rude or disrespectful or anything like that. I kinda prefer decent grammar, but I'm not necessarily going to make it a requirement. In terms of RP content, nothing really bothers me aside from sexual stuff (I suppose you could say I'm a bit awkward about that sort of thing), but I doubt that'll be a problem here. I do appreciate variety, like breaks from story or action where characters just kinda hang out and talk and such, and vice versa. It helps to keep things interesting, and gives more to the story and who the characters are and such.
Extra stuff: I have a fondness for just about everything dark, evil, and twisted. Creepypastas, horror movies and games, metal, hellish things, you get the idea. I understand that these aren't for everyone, and I certainly won't be focusing on them if it isn't wanted, I'm mainly just putting this here in case anyone else who enjoys such things might be interested.
EDIT: I feel I should also mention that a good amount of my characters would qualify as the antagonistic sides of these. Monsters and killers and the like. Also, while I may lean towards dark a lot of the time, I'm not limited to it. I'm fully capable of doing light and holy, kind and gentle, normal, so on and so forth.
I feel like there was something else I was going to add to this extras part, but I can't remember...
