I'm not perfect and I make plenty of mistakes, trust me, but I would prefer you have a good grasp on the English language and will not give me something I have to decipher.   Childhood best friends are torn apart near the end of their high school career because of the female's current (and abusive/controlling) boyfriend. Unfortunately for the male, he was just beginning to gain the courage to admit his growing feelings for his best friend when she was whisked away by this other man. He was left with all of their memories together; late ice cream runs, family dinners, and peaceful hikes along the river of their small town. It wasn't exactly easy on the female having to leave her best friend behind, but she assumed that things with him would not ever go anywhere further and, quite frankly, she was craving the affection of a man. She was positive that this new man would make her happy as he was doing all the right things; buying her flowers, taking her on sweet little dates, and toting her around like she was the only woman on the planet. It didn't take long for that to change though. He slowly began cutting her friends out of her life, beginning with that boy she had grown up with. And the abuse? That's something she's just not able to fully accept, always making excuses for his rash bouts of anger.
  
  When enrolling for college, she makes a mistake and checks off the box to be put into a dorm with any gender. Coincidentally, it just so happens to be her childhood best friend that she's paired with. Something is different about him, though. But she just can't place her finger on it (He could be anything; werewolf, vampire, shapeshifter, etc. Or we can keep things realistic and he could be involved with a gang of sorts or anything really).

  Muse a and muse b have been friends for about a year. From the moment they met they were inseparable and today they practically live together. One night muse a talks about her desire to have children (it’s not the first time it’s come up) and how she’s worried she’ll never find the right guy. Muse b throws out the idea of him being her baby-daddy as a joke, but then the two start to seriously consider it.   Muse A is a young pediatric music therapist and very loved by her patients. There is one patient, in particular, that seems very withdrawn, their clothes are usually out of sorts, they always refuse snacks, and they are being raised by their single uncle. To figure what’s really going on, muse a goes to the child's home to make sure everything is alright. She realizes the kid’s single uncle, muse b, is raising the child after their brother and sister in law passed away in a car accident. Muse b doesn't how to raise a kid or what to do to make things better, so muse a volunteers to give them some tips and so the child can hopefully move on from their loss and become happy once again. Muse a teaches muse b simple things and visits them often, feeling their heart melt whenever they see muse b acting in a fatherly way and doing their best even when things are difficult.

  Muse A is on the brink of a breakdown, they have had a shitty life full of pain (Mental and Physical), stress, and disappointment. Muse A feels like the only way to find peace is to end their life. Muse B comes into the story after seeing a depressing post from Muse A (Or maybe they just randomly messaged Muse A and got some weird, depressing vibes) and sends them an instant message, figuratively talking them off the ledge. Muse B messages Muse A every night asking “Are you still there?” and they talk into the early morning. Muse B becomes Muse A sole reason for living.

Muse A, a young woman who lives on her own, has a blossoming career and possesses... No desire to live any longer. Downing a handful of medication and laying back in a bathtub of warm water, fully clothed and all, awaits death to sweep her away from her miserably lonely existence. Here enters Muse B, a man who steals and connives his way through life to make it by. Finding a home he sincerely thought wasn't being occupied in the moment, maybe the homeowner was away on vacation or visiting a friend across town. He enters Muse A's home with every intention of robbing the residence of anything that he deemed profitable. Walking through the home, less than careful of making noise, he stops by the bathroom. Searching the cabinet for medicine that he could make some easy money off of, perhaps Xanax or prescription pain killers, he nearly stumbles over his own two feet when he caught sight of Muse A, laying in a porcelain bathtub, watching him without a shred of care. She was leaving the world soon anyway, why would she care who stole her things? Another mentionable point, if he planned to murder her, well... It wouldn't have ruined her plans.

Concerned by Muse A's reaction, or lack thereof, Muse B begins to question her and she emotionlessly tells him exactly what is going on. Confused and struck by a sudden urge to do something, he drags her from the bathtub and forces her to live. From there, he feels it is his duty, his responsibility, to watch over her and show her why it's worth it to live. ​
