so in my old place where i went to roleplay, you didnt just jump right on in to the roleplay, acting as if the person already knew you. you started by actually posting your characters FORM, THEN you joined in, because otherwise you would have NO IDEA just whom the character looked like, acted, its clothing, and so on and so fourth. do i just try to jump in, or do i post a form?!?!?!?

Generally roleplays have their own character sign-up threads that you post your character sheet in and then when the GM of the roleplay accepts you, you jump in.

hmm. now that sounds more like my old place (but instead of character sheets, they were called Charrie Forms. Charrie being sahort for character.) and after that, i slightly get the slang, but thats about it.

And you'd put in a CS for each role-play you join. Usually, however, the GM will fit your character in where it is appropriate.
