Character name: Victoria Eliza Snow


Appearance:

Thinner than the average lady of the time period. Leave it to other nurses to handle thrashing young and strong patients- Victoria deals usually with young women or elderly patients, but can change the sheets in the cells of any patient and bring any patient food so she has seen everything. Victoria's family does not have much money. She usually has a trace of dark circles visible under her eyes from stress. Being in the asylum for most of the day rendered her pale. She does not wear makeup and has a few birthmarks. When working she puts her long brown hair up and tops it with her hat.


Age: 23 years old


Clothing or style:


A nurse's gown and hat when at work. Simple, standard shoes. No jewelry. At home she has a locket and two-three long gowns, one of which is for fancy occasions which she rarely attends.


Personality:


Innocent and shy, Victoria attends mass regularly. She is friendly and reserved, compassionate and brave, and curious (which can be a flaw). She is obedient and follows the orders of the doctors in the institution- as closely as she can get away with. She cannot shake her belief that many people in the institution are not actually supposed to be locked away from love and light. Their families just wanted them gone. Her greatest fear is ending up in the hospital, too. Her parents really want her to get married, but she wants to focus on her career and travel before she settles down and starts a family.

A nurse and one of the main characters.


Other:


Received standard nurse instruction. She likes to read when she has the time. She wants to travel to different countries and tour art galleries, see Paris, and things like that.

Ryan's clothes normally consist of leather jackets and fitting jeans, but tight-fitting shirts. He's not a bit fan of skin-tight pants, and likes comfortable shoes; the appearance doesn't matter to him. He does the front of his hair up in a spiky manner with gel, leaving the rest combed down neatly. He almost always makes sure to wear a belt, often mocking those who where their pants down to their ankles. If at home or somewhere without a certain attire preference, he'll walk around without a shirt on, and baggy sweats. Whether or not he wears socks depends on the moment, I guess.


P e r s o n a l i t y


He's a goof. Ryan enjoys making other smile and making them laugh. He's good at bringing out the worst in people, however, and is actually a sarcastic asshole once you get to know him. At first, he's like a generous prince whom women think to be the perfect man. That's not the truth at all, though. Ryan is a pessimist who believes all to be vain and pointless. He's one of those people who need something to hate about themselves, or else they'll pin the blame on others; the fact that he can't seem to remain happy is just thrown off on everyone else. Because of often panic attacks and anxiety disorders after the death of his youngest sister, he grows nervous and fidgety at times. It all depends on the situation. Sometimes he can be a flirt, but doesn't actually like the woman he's flirting with. Ryan has a bad temper, and holds no care for what others think of him.
