Hello hello! Please post your characters here and I'll react with a heart if they're accepted
Couple notes:
- only 1 character per role will be accepted, except for Entour-roadies, of which there can be many. If you don't see a role that interests you, pitch me a new one and I might let you play it!
- PLEASE make your characters majorly flawed. I think this plot would be way more fun if it was super messy and the conflicts didn't always have a right answer. They can be good people, obviously, but just cause it's a roleplay doesn't mean they have to be role models
- Any FC (real person, illustrated, anime, 19th century oil painting, etc) is fine, and you don't have to use one if you don't want to
- You'll notice that there's some plot-ish things in the Roles section of the interest check. These were ideas/suggestions I had in regards to character flaws and conflicts. You can use them if they inspire you, but you definitely don't have to. They are below:
* Lead Guitarist is a new addition to the band, joining after the former lead guitarist, now playing rhythm guitar, was injured in an accident and lost some dexterity in their left hand. They're pretty self-righteous about music and a bit condescending about it, but they also kinda earn the right to be pretentious when they can shred that well.
* Rhythm Guitarist is bitter over not getting to play solos now that the band is blowing up, and is not very willing to cut the rest of the band slack when they get tired of rehearsing because if they had to re-learn how to play guitar for this tour, what excuse does anyone else have?
* Bassist is quite an adventurous type, which can make them a bit unreliable. When a show has to start and they're nowhere to be found, the band knows to look in the nearest crawlspace, rooftop, basement, neighborhood pond, and once lodged in between the greenroom couch and the washing machine, because it was "cozy".
* Synth/keys is a showboat, plain and simple. They're always looking for a new prop, costume, novelty synth, stage weapon, or fake blood recipe to give a show some edge. Most of the time they're just guilty of stage hogging, shirt ripping, and crowdsurfing, but sometimes their antics get them (and the band) in hot water.
* I'll get my character sheet up next week, but basically Drummer is a slacker. Not knowing the songs, not keeping up with paperwork, showing up to rehearsal drunk, or not showing up at all are all annoyingly common habits of theirs.
- GM transparency moment: I'm a major nitpicking fiend. I will do my absolute best not to be annoying. The only things I'll ask you to change are things that are majorly inaccurate to the setting (2006), the music industry, or the plot outlined in the interest check.
Go ahead and use whatever character sheet format you would like, as long as you include the following info:
- Name
- Age
- Role
- Appearance
- Personality/Characteristics
- Backstory
Thanks everyone :^3
