Miss Jackson, by Panic at the Disco ringtone played on the sleeping woman's phone stirring her from her sleep. Slowly opening her eyes, she groaned as she reached over and answered her phone. "Hello?" She had said sleepily before being greeted by her cheerful manager Scarlet. "Good morning Kia! Today is the day of the new production Idol Exes. Aren't you excited? P.S. I'm at your door so open up." Kiara barely had anytime to respond to her before she heard her knocking on her door. Hanging up the phone, she slowly made her way over to the door. Kiara had a feeling that she showed up at her door just so Kiara wouldn't be able to go to sleep. Reaching the door, she opened it and was greeted with a smile and a Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino. Kiara's sleepy mood suddenly disappeared at the sight of her drink. If there was ever an organization that specialized in caramel frapp addiction, she would have to sign up. Thanking Scarlet, she took the drink from her and she took a nice long sip sighing in happiness.


Once Scarlet saw how happy she was with her drink, she got down to business. "Alright Kia. Like I said on the phone, today is the day of the production. As you have been informed weeks before, they have paired you up with you ex. I know that it isn't what you wanted, but the producers thought about the views that it will get once the viewers see you too together again. In all honesty, I kind of missed you too anyway. I think it will be cute that you guys are going to be together." Kiara almost choked on her drink as she looked at Scarlet. "Um, even though we didn't on terrible terms, it is still going to be awkward." She had responded with a sigh as she shook her head. In all honesty, out of her other ex's she could get along with him. Now, she really had no choice but to get along with him and talk to him. "Well you need to get ready. The car will be on the way in 30 mins. So make sure you were something cute for your boo!" Rolling her eyes, she ignored her manager and went into her room shutting the door to get ready for a very long day.


20 minutes later, she stepped out in a white shirt that had red stripes at the end and a red checkered skirt with a pair of black pumps. A huge smile spread across Scarlet's face and Kiara knew she was going to say something. "Don't even think about it. Is the car here yet? I'm ready to get this over with." Scarlet pulled out her phone and called the driver. After a couple minutes on the phone, Scarlet hung up and turned her attention to Kiara. "He just pulled up and your body guard is already waiting outside your door. Lets go." Giving her a nod, Kiara grabbed her bag and phone and followed her manager out the door. Her body guard, Bruce, greeted her when she stepped out of her penthouse and locked the door. "Good morning Kia." Giving him a smile she responded back. "Good morning Bruce." Soon they made their way downstairs and saw the flash of photographers and a couple of people went up to her asking for her autograph.


Smiling at her fans, she signed all that she could before informing them that she has to go. Getting into her car, she gave them a soft wave before the car pulled off. Leaning back, she closed her eyes and remained quiet the entire ride. The driver pulled up at the curb and they all exited the vehicle and quickly entered the building. Once signing in and getting other information, they made their way to set. Looking around, she saw the other couples. It looked as though everyone was there except her ex and Kiara wondered if he was on the way.

Yoo Sung Joo

The morning sun shone through the window, and it fell right on Sung Joo's face. He moved a bit, and tried to pull his blanket to cover his face. But, unfortunately, his phone rang and Sung Joo have no reason not to answer it. "...myeah....'orning....." On the other side, his manager, Hyun Shik, sighed at his pupil. "Ya, how long are you going to sleep? It's already nine in the morning. Get up and get dressed. I'll be there in five minutes." His manager hung up the phone, and Sung Joo have no choice but to get up and take a shower. He remembered that he was offered to play lead male actor on a new production, but he didn't really know about it.


Seven minutes later, he finished showering and wore a white t-shirt and a short. He saw his manager at his living room, and then, while drying his hair, greeted him. "Oh, hyung. Do I have a schedule this morning? I don't recall anything." His manager put a folder on the desk. He then flipped it open and pulled out a few papers. "Let's see.. You are offered as a male lead actor on a new production, produced by XIX, and you're paired with....uh....here, Kiara Smith." He looked up, and saw that Sung Joo's face became a bit bitter and let out a sigh. "Kia? I don't know, man. It will be very awkward." Hyun Shik chuckled a bit and then handed over a piece of paper. "I already signed you up. It will help you boost your popularity. And I know that you didn't end with Kiara in a bad term. So, tough up and do this production. Get changed, I will drive you to the set. The producer want to meet you two first."


Sung Joo let out a loud sigh, and then stood up and get changed. He wore a white shirt with blue suits, and a matching trousers. He then stood in front of the manager, and gave him a wry smile. "Let's go then. You know, I hate you when you make a deal without me knowing." His manager just laughed and gave him a small punch in the shoulder. "Come on, I'll drive this time." They then walked out and went straight to the car. Not many fans out there, as he just came to the States about a year ago, after his rookie year at South Korea. He was singing along with the song that his manager played, and joking to each other. Not long, they arrived at the XIX Entertainment building, and his manager signed them in. They then walked over and make their way to the set. Looks like everyone is here. And hey, a lot of other couple too. I wonder if she's here. He then saw her ex, Kiara, not far from him. So, being polite, he walked over and greeted her. "Morning, um, Kia. How are you today?"

Kiara walked around the set, just to get a feel of everything and to see where everything was. There was a friendly atmosphere about it and she couldn't help but smile. No one seemed to be having a bad day and there was even a couple of people who walked up to her and introduced themselves. She ended up talking with one of the makeup artists who asked her if she was ready to get started. As she sat in the chair with her eyes closed, she laughed at the crazy stories that the young lady, Sarah, had told her. "I can't believe that happened to you. That is crazy." Kiara had said once she had calmed down from all the laughing. "It is a true story I swear. You can ask Beyonce herself and she will tell you." "I believe you. Your job does seem to have a lot of action going on despite what people might say." "And I wouldn't have it any other way. I honestly love my job. Making sure women's makeup is on point, brings happiness to me. You can open your eyes now. I have now finished my latest masterpiece." She had said with a giggle.


Opening her eyes, Kiara loved the way her eyes had this daring yet seductive look. The red eye shadow really brought out her eyes and she loved the cat eyed look. "This is beautiful. I will make sure that my manager gets your number." She said as she stood up and gave Sarah a wink. Saying her goodbyes so she can start on the next person, she left and went to look for her manager. Smiling when she saw her, Kiara walked up to her manager and showed her the new look. "I love the look. Do you want me to get her contact information?" Giving her a nod, Scarlet gave her a smile before looking past her and then taking her leave. Before Kiara could even ask Scarlet what she was looking at, she soon found her answer when she heard a familiar voice behind her. Turning around, a soft blush formed across her face as she looked at Sung Joo. Giving him a soft smile, to hide her blush, she responded back. "Good morning Sung Joo. Glad to see you are doing well."

Sung Joo smiled at Kiara, and then reached out his hand to pinch her cheek. He used to do that all the time when they were dating. "I like your makeup. And, to be honest, wow. You're more beautiful then what I remembered." Sung Joo smiled and sat next to her. He let out a small sigh and then leaned his back on the chair. "Sorry, I have to put up a friendly gestures to you, so the producer will be happy. And, how have you been? How long since we break up?"


Just then, a makeup artist came to him and start to fix his hair. He noticed an awkward atmosphere around them, so he smiled at her. "Can I be honest? I still miss you sometimes. Sometimes I read all of our messages and smiled. I know it sounds crazy, but, yeah, I still do that sometimes." He then turned his head and smiled at her. "Enough about me. So, have you read the script?"

She tilted her head to the side before her blush deepened when she felt his hands on her cheek pinching her like the time that they were dating. Kiara had to get her face under control because her cheeks were beginning to hurt and not because her pinched her cheek. They had made their way to a set of chairs and sat down so that they can continue the conversation. Another blush, deeper than the last, appeared on her face as she looked at her hands before looking at him and giving him a smile. "Thank you. You still look as handsome as ever." It was true. She would see him on TV, and she couldn't help but stare at him. It also looked as though he might have been hitting the gym. "It is fine. I understand. I've been good. Going on tours and meeting amazing people and fans. You honestly don't know how long we broke up?" She asked him with a hint of disappointment in her voice.


Another makeup artist came over to do Sung Joo's hair and there was an awkward silence that was slowly putting her over the edge so she started to hum. It was a habit she always do whenever she was nervous or just felt awkward, she would hum any tune to calm her nerves. Sung Joo took it upon himself to open up his feelings for her and her eyes widen as she listened. "You still read our old messages?" She honestly didn't think he would even have those. Kiara had kept everything that they had did, from taking pictures, to giving gifts, to magazines and she put them in a box that was in her closet. Normally she would have threw all those out but since they didn't end on terrible terms, she decided to keep them. "I still have our stuff. It is in my closet in a box. I looked at the script but I'm not entirely sure what the purpose of this show is. Do you have an idea?" Maybe being on this show with him won't be as bad as she thought it would.

Sung Joo watched at the mirror as the makeup artist fixes his hair. "It's not that I forgot how long we broke up. I just don't want to think about it." Sung Joo smiled when he knew that Kia still kept all of their memories, instead of throwing it away. He lifted his left hand, and rolled up his sleeves. "I still wear the watched that you gave me for our anniversary. And the panda clock? It's still woke me up everyday. Well, not everyday."


Sung Joo recalled what his manager said about the production this morning. He didn't mention anything about the plot. It just he was paired with Kiara. "Me neither. Well, seeing other couples here, I guess it's some kind of drama or something like that." Just then, his makeup artist finished her work, and then smiled and stepped away from them. He then turned his face toward Kiara, and tilted his head slightly. "How do I look? Is it good enough for you, darling? Ah, sorry. I shouldn't called you that again. I mean, ahem, how do I look, Kia?"





Meanwhile, his manager, Hyun Shik, approached Kiara's manager, Scarlet after she finished talking with a makeup artist. From what Sung Joo saw, they was quite friendly with each other. He was wondering, if his manager and Kia's have some kind of relationship.

It wasn't as if it was a terrible break out. In fact if they both wanted to be with one another again, they could easily start their relationship up again. "You kept my watch and cute panda clock?" She thought that he would have at least got rid of the adorable clock that she brought him. It was good to know that both of them still had one others items that they had gave each other. It was odd that they didn't know exactly what they were doing at the studio and she wondered if they were ever going to find out. She looked around and saw the other couples and thought of a game. Maybe that is what they were doing there.


"It could be one of those couple game shows. If it, I guess it won't be so bad. They are fun to watch so hopefully it will be fun to play." She said giving a friendly smile before she watched her manager talk to his manager. Her eyes went back to Sung Joo who asked her how did he look. Reaching out, she touched his hair a little being careful not to mess it up and gave him a smile. "As cute as always."

Sung Joo's heart skipped a beat when Kia leaned to him and checked out his hair. His face slowly became red. He pulled his body a bit to hide his face, but Kia surely saw his embarrassed face. "W-well I think so. Th-those games sure are f-funny. If it's true, I-I hope we could win it, even though it will create rumors. But I don't mind." He then turned his face to Kia, and then leaned his face toward her. He then grabbed her hand, and held it softly. "I'm glad that we met again. I was hesitated to meet you at first. But seeing you now, I'm glad that I come here." He then whispered in her ears, "I don't want our managers to find out, but.... Do you have time this weekend? Maybe we can hangout, you know, to relive our memories again?"

As Kia had leaned in to see his hair, she had saw his face and giggled softly. He still blush whenever she got too close and it was quite adorable. Kiara knew that along with his blushing, he would start to stammer a little until his face calms down and sure enough when he started talking, he started stammering. It was nice to see that not much has changed with him. Her eyes widen a little as it was her turn to blush when his face got close to hers. For a second, she thought he was going to kiss her and part of her wanted him to do that but at the same time, she wanted to be professional. After all they were on a set called Celebrity Exes and they wouldn't be exes if they were caught kissing or something. "I'm glad we can meet up again as well." It was the honest truth. Kiara was glad that the two can get along. He then whispered in her asking if she would like to hang out with him like old times and Kiara looked at him for a moment before smiling. "Sounds like fun. Though we will have to have disguises because of the paparazzi." There have been plenty of times that she would have to throw on a wig and a pair of glasses just so she could dodge the paparazzi.


Just as she responded back to him, the producer approached them and gave them both a friendly smile. "It is good to see at least one couple getting along. It is almost time to start filming. If you two will follow me, I will show you were everyone is and where you two will sit." The producer waited until both of them were up and started leading them to the set. Walking onto the set, she introduced Sung Joo and Kiara to the rest of the cast.

Sung Joo smiled when Kia agreed to go out with him. He nodded at Kia's idea to put on some kind of disguises, as he didn't want to start new rumor about them. Just as he opened his mouth, the producer came and asked them to follow her and met the other couples. He noticed some of the couples, as he once saw them on television. Some of them were on good terms, smiling and friendly, and some of them clearly showed that they were uncomfortable with the setup.


Once all of them finished introduce themselves, the producer clapped her hands to get everyone attention back. "Now, since we all knew each other, let me explain about this show. First of all, this is a variety game show. Maybe some of you already saw this kind of production before. And for those who don't know about it, let me explain it. We use no script, and we will keep recording. Each couple are assigned a camera member that will follow you around. Now, any question?"
