Story Ideas for hunger games?

Hello all,

I'm planning to write a Hunger Games fanfiction, after the events in the books/films but I need a bad event for Katniss/Peta I do 't really want them to go back into the arena or their children. Any suggestions?

I haven't really read any of the books but what about overthrowing the government or people in power that cause the necessity for the arena? Did they do that in the books?

That's like the whole point of the last book final two movies. That's the whole point of the story lol.

A rival nation somewhere else in the world (Panem is basically America+some of Canada if i'm not mistaken) has a spy that sees the government change hands and recognizes they may be weakened societally and militarily and decides to attack.
