A Box of Cosmic Brownies
Ciao, amigos!

I hope you're having a great day, and I was just wondering if I could get some opinions on a few of my ideas for a potential nation-building roleplay. I look forward to your feedback! =)

1. Scenario I: Welcome to Tiylded! A land filled to the brim with blood, gold, and beer! In a world that parallels the 16th century, with the disease called colonization being passed around kings and queens faster than the AIDS during the '80s. With pompous warmongers dropping literal boatloads of gold and other merchandise to slap their name on a new piece of dirt, you've been sent as an emissary to these new landmasses with the flag of your Motherland in-hand, and a heap of men behind you to settle these "worlds". [COLONIAL FANTASY]

2. Scenario II: The stench of gunpowder, corpses, and dirt is familiar to every man in Shaenust. The war's plagued this land for the past two generations. The father's son is eager in arms to take his father's former patrol route in these trying and turbulent times. A boy unmarked by war, clothes straight from the iron, nay a crease in sight, a vision that still is lively and full of imagination. Play as an already-established kingdom or as a newborn in this terrible world. [WW1-INSPIRED REALISTIC]

3. Scenario III: A female's voice rings over the intercom; "Hello, passenger. We are now entering the atmosphere of Thauyama Prime, the Emerald Planet of the Thauyama System!" 2340. Humanity has dipped its' toes in interstellar travel. What used to be science fiction is now reality. Nikitin Energies advertises Thauyama Prime as a place with endless possibility. The FESPRC (Federation of Earth Space Protocols and Regulations Committee) has no regulation over Thauyama, seeing as how the territory was bought by Nikitin Energies, allowing literally anyone the ability to take control over the planet... so long as they pay a share to Nikitin Energies. [SCI-FI SPONSOR NRP]

4. Scenario IV: Wasteland Wonderland. Apocalypse Delighted. A Crispy Calamity. Whatever you brand it as, the world's gone to shit. It's like God ate too much Indian food, and furious with his unrelenting diarrhea, he took it out on Earth. The world's a brand new slate. It seems you've stumbled upon a set of chiseling tools. Form and mold this world to your liking, or perish with it just like any good-tasting food before the Event. [POST-APOCALYPTIC REALISTIC]

I hope you enjoyed reading through these scenarios, any criticism and feedback is good feedback! Thank you!

Hey there SmugViking SmugViking , I kind of feel bad I didn't notice this sooner, because I like some of these ideas a lot.

Admittedly the thing that caught my attention first was 'WWI'. I've sadly been part of a WWI rp that collapsed shortly afterwards, and I'm still interested in the subject. The biggest point I noticed was how long the war has been going on before the rp; its really interesting. I could see both older and well known but worn out nations as well as new ones (perhaps born out of a large gathering of rebels or a civil war) that might be weaker but more stable. There might even be neutral nations that decide to join the fight since the others are already worn down. Maybe research has caused warfare to advance during the war, like it started out with rifling and now there are now machine guns, or maybe its been at a dead stop for many, many years. Depending on what the systems are for diplomacy, fighting, etc. I'd totally be down for this.

I'm also a bit interested in the colonial one. I'd like to see what makes it fantasy, or what makes it different than other colonial rps (if fantasy is the sole unique aspect, thats fine too). I hope it doesn't seem like I don't like this idea as much, it really is good, and Tiylded is a creative name.

If you want any more of my imputs or just want me to shut up, just let me know.
