A long deep breath escaped from the young woman as the taxi drove them to their last living reltive. Roselle was nervous and bit at her lower lip, sitting next to her twin brother, the ugly yellow txi driving smoothly through the twisting roads, looming rows of pine trees on either side. Tired, Roselle leaned gently against her brother, holdin one of his hands in hers.
"Here ya go." The taxi driver said suddenly announced in a New York accent. Turning his signal on, the yellow car took a right into a long gravel driveway and drove up to the house. No...Mansion. Stopping in front of the Gothic Victorian styled mansion, Roselle gave the man the money.
"K-Keep the ch-ch-change." The girl muttered, stepping out of the taxi and helping her brother, pulling the suitcase out of the trunk before the taxi sped away, spitting gravel and dust in its wake. Looking over at her brother, Roselle picked up the suitcase and took her brother's hands. "It...It's a G-Gothic Victorian M-Mansion." Roselle whispered, leading the two of them to the front door. Roselle stopped and bit her lip. A giant gargoyle holding the doorknocker stared at them with a malicious grin and fangs. Swallowing hard, Roselle banged the knocker against the foor three times, hearing it boom through the old house.
