Most Fantastical Fabulous Extraordinary Mage
Inside the time before time, He, the Great One, existed. Inside a blank nothingness that could drive you mad He stood as a beckon of light in darkness. This did not last long however, for the nothingness became void with the existence of something, and the void tore Him from all ends. He was strong though, only letting the tiniest pieces of Him be snatched away from Him. Because of this He decided to leave, never knowing the void's calming or the tiny specks of potential he left behind.

Now the tiny fragments of the Great One shall come to rule over this void that He left behind, for while there may be nothing here as of yet, creation shall light the way to so much more.

And then there was something. This something was new, young, and fresh and full of the energy of fresh creation. Its light kindled faintly amid the darkness, building slowly in the silence until the sudden explosion of its birth. In light and life, with voice and joy yet without form it sprang into existence, rushing into reality at full sprint.

“Waaaayyyyyhhaaayyyy!” It cheered, just so happy to BE. “AAAAHHHHH!” And it shot through the emptiness. Simply enjoying the infinite space it had to frolic in. “Aaah....aahhlll.” It sounded out to itself at first in awe of the creation that was so new and impressive in front of it. Then the awe started to wear off. Then it just kept making noise to fill the silence.

“Aaahh... Aaahhllll.... Alalala!” Its voice echoed out and that made things a little better but quickly made it feel more lonely. But it kept it up anyway seeing as there was nothing else to do. Until the noise took shape. “Alariiic. Alaric!” And it liked that noise and a part of it knew this noise meant itself.

And the little thing looked upon itself and saw that over this time it had changed some. With a name came shape, came identity, came knowledge of himself. Where there was once nothing it saw hands and feet, felt the eyes it looked through and though they saw less than its ethereal form had it liked this. These eyes gave it direction, these legs gave each movement a feeling of worth, these hands gave feeling where these once was none. It felt itself smile for the first time and heard itself speak with this new mouth. “Alaric.”

And there Alaric stood, a literal child of this new creation. With skin like milk and hair like golden light. Small and slight and suddenly feeling very alone. “Hello? Helloooo!” He called out. Alaric was a he now, he had decided. But that didn't matter if all that was left for him in existence was to wander alone in this nothingness. So Alaric ran through the void, calling out all the while, hoping desperately to find someone, something, anything.

Eventually, amid all his desperate cries and whimpering came another presence. A low rumbling that rose up from the dark of the void and grew in size and sound until it threatened to deafen Alaric and send him running. But he stood his ground, out of curiosity if nothing else until the thing stood before him at its full height. Alaric didn't know what to call it and unknown to him the stories that would come after this would call the thing a titan. A primordial being of immense size and power, forged from the raw energies of creation. Not that Alaric knew any of that and in time he'd come to see how every description of its appearance would vary over time. That was his own fault though, his imagination was just born along with the rest of him and this was the first thing he had to take in with his new eyes. It was all quite a lot for his young mind.

“H-hello! I'm Alaric... who are you?” He called out to this new thing.

The thing didn't answer. Though he did notice that it was shaped much the same as him. Arms, legs, head and all. Just infinitely bigger.

“Do you have a name? I can help you make one if you want?” The giant let out a guttural growl in response. “Gruu? Graw? Ooh ooh, how about Grond?! That's got a good ring to it!”

Grond didn't seem to like this new name as it swiped down with a colossal hand to swipe at the gnat that was Alaric before it. Of course it was far too slow to hit the young deity who nimbly skipped out of the way.

“Whoah watch out there, silly.” Alaric giggled, unaware of any danger around him. Why would he?

That seemed to enrage Grond even more are he roared out as advanced on the child god with rage and blood lust in its eyes. And Alaric was blind to it! He leaped around, darting to and fro as he dodged the titanic swipes and grabs, laughing all the while, even climbing up the limbs of Grond, finding footholds in its thick hide. This was all a fun game! Alaric had wondered through the nothingness and found himself a friend at last. They could have a great time together, Grond and him. This could be fun.

Then Grond caught him. Gripping him in an iron grip. “Haha, you got me!” Then Grond brought him up towards his face and looked down on Alaric as the insignificant speck he was right now. “Okay, okay you got me... you can let me go now. Grond?” And then the grip tightened. “Ow! Y-you're hurting me! Grond, you're hurting me!” There was panic in Alaric's voice now. He'd known loneliness and now he'd discovered pain. He didn't like pain. With it came fear as Grond opened his giant maw and moved Alaric closer to it. It was dark, dank and so very frightening. And Alaric had an idea of what eating was.

“Grond, let me go. LET ME GO!” Alaric screamed in pain and fear as tear formed in his eyes for the first time and he felt like his heart was about to burst.

And in his blind panic he lashed out like the frightened child he was. The next thing he knew his ears were filled with Grond's pain filled roar as he swung out wildly. And then the screaming stopped, both Grond's and Alaric's. The boy god was left there, panting in exhaustion and alone again. Grond's corpse lay before him, now headless as the blood of creation leaked from its gory stump. It was in those quiet moments - once he'd managed to calm down – that Alaric looked down at his hands. He was holding something that hadn't been there before. Something cold and hard, now covered in Grom's blood. He held it up, to try and see what he was but before he could really try and get a handle of it, the thing was gone. Vanished into the nothingness.

Far off in the void, Grond's head span through space. Now stripped of life it crumbled away, layer by layer as its great weight collapsed in on itself until all that was left was the solid husk of what had once been. A giant ball that had once been a skull full of raw potential came to a stop at its final resting place. Now a blank slate of a planetoids, left alone in the ether. A blank face of earth and stone, waiting to be filled.

So the story would come to go. The tale of how the god Alaric had done battle with the titan Grond and had severed his head from his shoulders and with his sword carved the world from his skull. Gron'd eyes became the sea, his teeth the mountains and his hair the forests. But that was all a long way off and Alaric would see none of this. The head had spun away, Grond was gone and he was left alone again.

“Hello?” He called out, teary eyed and with a quivery voice. “Is anyone there?” He really didn't want to be alone.

A simple call, a simple want, just for someone to be there.

She heard.

As a shining beckon arriving past the sight of infinity, she came toward the lonely god. Heavenly light incarnate, her form was feminine in nature but made of simple light that shone against the great darkness in the void. She stood above the new world and looked to the child god. While one would not be able to place why, she had a sad comforting gleam which was reflected in her voice.

"Oh child, you are so brave...

I shall make you friends that you can play with forever."

With a swipe of her hand golden dust spread across the sky creating small dots along the great tapestry of infinite void, but up close one would see that they were beings of simple mind and strength. The stars, great fairies of gigantic size, shone with a light comparable to their mother. Their form was nearly nothing, with most taking on a simple orb with nearly invisible wings along their backs (which of course cannot be seen unless you were very close), though some of them take on differing shapes.

In their endless numbers, the Stars illuminate the void. A million trillion friends, foes, and what not for the gods to interact with.

One of them, with no name at the moment, chose to be near the new world. Curious and wanting to be near it's mother.

-1 AP Create Monstrous Life-The Stars: The first of the fairy, as well as the "mortal" creatures. They illuminate the sky and may act as the suns for many worlds. They rarely interact with each other but love to talk, play, and trick whatever creature/gods live in the void with their simple minds. Most look like navi from Zelda without color, but some have different shapes and forms. They move across the sky because of their curiosity, but have short memories so they are prone to repeat themselves (takes a few hundred tries to teach them a new trick). They are immortal, and can only die by violence.

-5 AP Gain Ability-Heavenly Light (Divine Beauty): Alfia's heavenly light provides peace and tranquility to all within it's range, bringing peace and weakening hate.

Max opened his eyes and began to exist again. He was surrounded by vast nothingness, which slowly filled with tiny lights. Far beyond was a sphere, a sphere that would one day be the seat of the greatest thing in existence--life.

He looked own at himself, at his arms and his legs and began to laugh. He laughed louder and louder until surely the whole universe could hear his joy. Into the darkness, he yelled, "I exist! I'm real! I'm a thing!"

He knew this was untrue. Though he was in this world with a body and unimaginable power, he was still the Author's words. "Thank you!" he cried, for though he was words, the words said he had shape, which was good enough for him. He was content to simply float in this darkness, but he knew that the Author would only allow him to be if the Story kept moving. So he began to walk, then to run, then he leaped into the nothing and flew. He followed the light of the stars towards the sphere.

As he flew, he saw a young boy and a woman of light. "Hello!" he called to them. "How does it feel to exist?" He did not wait for a response, instead continuing on his course.

As he reached the surface of the planet, he twisted so that his feet would land first. Below him, the land rose to meet his feet, land as far as he could see. It was green and soft, and in the distance, there were trees and the faint sound of a river. His feet touched the ground and he rolled forward, tumbling across the new land below him. He came to rest on his back with his arms and legs spread out. He looked up and stared at the stars, wondering if the two that he saw would follow him down.

Above the First World-Alfia, Alaric:

Seeing another being run past to the planet below Alfia could not help but have her mood lighten and giggle at the strangers words.

"Quite nice, my children are many and things are being made!"

Seeing her "little" star child looking upon the world, slowly rotating around it in observation Alfia look to Alaric.

"What do you think we should name it child? For that matter what might your name be?"

In the vast emptiness of the void, a lone fragment drifted and wandered after rending itself from the Great One. It struggled and fought to exist against the blank space that surrounded him. It vowed that it would never be smothered by this darkness, that it would have its place in this world. Suddenly, as if signifying the fragment's fighting spirit, the fragment erupted into the visage of a true warrior, and decided from that moment onward that he was a man named Herodotus.

While he stood alone, the void was suddenly filled with a seemingly endless amount of lights, and Herodotus was in awe. He wandered until he saw three other deities surrounding a world which heavily contrasted the surrounding void. He approached this new world, still awed by the creations he was witnessing. "Marvelous" was the only word he managed to speak.

Looking down upon the world, it seemed small and helpless to Herodotus. He decided that it needed something to defend it, no matter how small they may be. He pointed down at the world and swirled around the dust that rested on its surface, combining it into new forms. The result was a fleshy, two legged species, not unlike the forms that he and his fellow gods took. Their short lifespans were offset by their seemingly endless creative potential. He decided to call them humans. Seeing their terrible confusion in their recent birth, he decided to guide them. With this guidance, the first kingdom had been founded. The people decided to call their kingdom Avalon.

Max closed his eyes and let the wind blow over him, rustling the tall grass, causing it to tickle his face and limbs. At that particular moment, everything was perfect.

And then someone found him. Max didn't know how much time had passed, but now there were mortals on the planet. They were tall and slender, and they looked a lot like him. The ones that found him cautiously approached his unmoving figure. One of them had something long and thin, perhaps a spear, which he used to poke at Max's ribs to see if he was alive. At first, Max tried to ignore them, a vain attempt to maintain the bliss from before. But the mortal poked harder and Max became irritated. He jumped up suddenly and the men, a group of three, stepped back, wary of the stranger.

"Who are you?" One of them asked. Max didn't know the language, but somehow he did.

"I'm Max," he told them simply.

"Max who?"

"Just Max."

The three men looked at each other, confused. "What are you?" the second one ventured.

Max grinned wildly. "I guess I'm a god."

"A-A god?"

"Yeah. I didn't make you, but I made the land you're standing on. My turn. What are you?"

The mortals looked back and forth at each other as if trying to silently communicate.

Finally, the first one spoke. "Humans."

"Humans..." Max turned his gaze to the sky. He held one hand to his chin in thought. "I guess I'll have to find out who made you." And with that, he leapt upwards and shot off like a rocket. Below him, the three men tensed and covered their eyes from the displaced air. In moments, they were too far away to see. Once Max was away from the planet, he shouted into the darkness. "Who made the humans?"

And like that the dark was gone. And there she stood. And she was beautiful. The lights she brought with her seemed to float and dance through space with such ease, their little voices filling the once suffocating silence with talk and laughter. Yet they all paled in comparison to the presence that stood before him. Next to her Alaric felt his tears dry and his fears fade away.

Brave, she called him. Alaric didn't know what brave was but he liked the idea of someone calling him it.

"What do you think we should name it child? For that matter what might your name be?"

That brought him back to the present. Alaric's eyes darted back and forth between her and the rock nearby. Others like them were already rushing around them and the once plain rock was changing, decorated with a patch of verdant green. It was all so much for his young mind to take in.

"I... I dunno." The only way to name things Alaric knew was to just sound it out until it felt right. So that was what he did, rapidly cycling through noises under his breath. "Ve - Reh - Ae - Aevo! I kinda like Aevo, how about? For that thing over there I mean, not me! I- I'm Alaric." He smiled up at the female deity before feeling the overwhelming need to look down at his shuffling feet.

"What's your name?" He asked bashfully.

Everything was happening so fast, and yet the record keeper was nowhere to be found. However, that would quickly change as the God of Ages, the Great Oracle himself would come to being and immediately be flustered. So much had already happened without him, and frankly he didn't like not knowing what it was. The giant fairies were pretty easy to see, so he could mark that down as being done however he didn't know when it was done. All that he did know was that he had felt things with power like his but not his were doing things.

Swiftly he flew through the universe, his body taking the form of a rather youthful man, time had only just begun and frankly it's quite surprising he wasn't a baby. Eventually he found something, a gathering of sorts. He could sense their presence, but not their exact location. But it was on that skull. Wait, if there was a skull then where was the rest of it? Ah, there it was. "What a waste." Buras muttered as he stared at the giant corpse of the Titan Grond. Perhaps he should do something with it, yes, that would probably be best.

And so he grabbed the Titan's body, not physically but he simply willed it to lift, and examined it. "Hm." he said quietly to himself, rubbing his chin as he inspected the body. "What to do, what to do. Ah, I know." With that, he began to methodically rip the Titan's body apart, a bit barbaric yes but what else did he have to work with? The sky was rather empty, aside from the giant fairies and the lone floating skull. He was simply adding a bit more variety to it and filling space. He left the formed planets (where did that word come from?) to drift lazily around, leaving them to be worked on at a later date.

That done, he now had to figure out what exactly had been going on while he wasn't there.

"Alfia is my name dear Alaric, though I have never used it before." Says the goddess comfortingly. "Aevo is a wonderful name for this star Alaric, may it shine forever this happily." After a quick glance at the sun she looked back to Alaric, she says:

No one answered his call. "Maybe whoever made them left..." He slowly turned in a circle, observing the cosmos around him. Near the planet, he spotted the woman of light and the young boy he had passed on his way down. He began to walk (or at least, he moved towards them as his legs made walking motions over an invisible surface) towards them. "Hello! Who are you two? I'm Max; I did that flyby earlier."

Alfia, Alaric, Max-Above the First World: Discussion Between the Gods #1

Alfia felt that the moment was ruined a little bit, but her disappointment in that was clearly overridden by having more company. Looking towards Max her form began to look more solid, less light and more flesh, and a smile was seen.

"Oh! Greetings Max, my name is Alfia, and this child's name is Alaric. You were the one that added the life down bellow if I'm not mistaken. Such a great start for this world!"

"I didn't make the life. I was trying to find out who did." He paused, studying them both in turn. He knew Alfia was disappointed to be interrupted, but he desperately wanted to talk to someone. There was no point waiting for whoever made the humans, and if he did nothing, his part in the Story would grind to a halt. "This is all very new to me. I don't know what's going to happen next, which has never happened before. Do...do either of you have plans for what to do now that we exist and the Story has begun?" He was being more honest about the Story than he usually was, and more than likely they wouldn't know what he was talking about. But he wanted to befriend the only other people who could comprehend what he was here.

The Father of Frost opened his eyes, blinking unnaturally quick to see if he was awake. He stretched out both hands and took a quick look, proceeding to inspect the rest of his body, everything seemed real to Jormyr. Except for the fact he stood on an empty white plane, he wandered around a bit, hoping to find something of interest. Anything would have sufficed, and the blue-skinned god quickly grew lonely and bored. He raised his left hand to inspect it again, looking at it with intense focus, after a few moments, a faint white aura could be seen. The empty space just above his palm began snowing, every flake filling Jormyr with bite sized amounts of cool comfort.

However, his interest was short-lived as he grew lonely again, an idea then popped into his head. Cupping both hands together, a small blizzard could be heard in-between them, opening his hands, the blizzard expanded outward at quick speeds, stretching out beyond Jormyr's field of view. What appeared next pleased him, he was now standing on a snowy plain, with a frozen lake nearby, to his right was a fairly tall hill with a throne made of pure ice. Next, with a snap of his fingertips, humanoid forms of various sizes began sprouting from the snows.

These beings had blue tinted skin like their creator, beards of varying lengths made of ice and snow, the Frost Giants had been born.

The Giants rallied to their creator, bowing in respect and awe, but Jormyr signaled otherwise. The Frost Giants obeyed and scurried off in different directions to do what life does.

Still, Jormyr needed a weapon, other gods could attack at any moment, holding his hand out, as if grabbing a nonexistent hilt. A ball of white energy materialized in his grasp, following with what appeared to be a handle. Then came parts of the blade. Finally the whole weapon materialized, in the form of a double sided axe. While in construction, Jormyr imagined this great weapon of freezing all it cuts, and manipulating the ice surrounding it, aptly naming it 'Jotunvar, Axe of Ice'.

Satisfaction filled him as he held the blade before taking a seat on his icy throne and falling into a slumber.

Alfia, Alaric, Max-Above the First World: Discussion Between the Gods #1

When Max says "Story" Alfia takes it more as "Creation".

"Nothing but growth, I wish to create and mold Creation into something beautiful. There is so much hope, so much being created, and it will lead to great things. I feel it in the deepest part of my being that this will lead to something great."

The goddess felt like she wanted to bite her lip a bit, feeling a bit guilty asking, but feeling like she needed to because of her own little sliver of insecurity. "Though, I'm not sure it'll be easy, would you help me bring about harmony to the world?"

The Stars:

The children of Alfia, great in number and simple in mind. Felt the weaving of harmony start to envelop creation, and they responded by moving across the great tapestry of the void, until they showed the image of Alfia. They stopped, for now, but if more gods were to join in the harmony then they too would be seen across the sky.

Max looked out at the planet. He could see the large green patch that was his continent, and a similarly large white patch that must have been the land that was created recently. He didn't like that he didn't know exactly what happened. It was part of the Story, wasn't it? Why couldn't he read it? He had always known what was happening. This was new. And exciting. He turned back to Alfia. "Harmony is a wonderful ideal. But even in the most unified societies, there are always people who are excluded. Someone needs to be there to help them. I've always been the voice no one heard. No one else should have to experience that." He smiled and extended his hand towards the woman for her to shake, signifying his acceptance.

"Alaric, I have something to ask of you. There is so much potential within creation that is growing, but with all that exists I don't know if I can help bring everything into harmony alone, might you help me?"

"Um, well, yeah I guess I could." Alaric nodded along. He wasn't really sure what bringing stuff into harmony meant or how he could help create stuff from nothing but the second part sounded fun at least and Alfia seemed nice, and as the only person he'd met so far who hadn't tried to eat him Alaric was just happy to make a friend. He was still riding high on the praise of naming the warmest laughing star. "I'd like that I think."

Then the new person came along from far below, yelling at them and sending Alaric to shyly hide behind Alfia's swiftly solidifying legs.  "-and this child's name is Alaric."

"Hi." He offered up, giving a little wave to the newcomer, Max. Then the two of them got back to talking about creation and stories and all kinds of things happening on the big rock that Alaric had missed. This was all getting very exciting for him, the world had gone from dull and lonely to being full of company and new things to find. Like what were humans? What would it be like to go see that big green patch and the white stuff that had sprung up near it. It all got him thinking hard. The word story struck a chord with him and though Alaric couldn't put it into words yet he thought he liked that word. "I wanna make more stories." Alaric said to himself, feeling a smile tug at the corner of his mouth.

Herodotus stood among the grass and the trees, observing the humans who quickly adapted to their new existence and feeling proud of his work. He simply observed the nearest village as a few other humans stood by him, looking at the large god with awe. His concentration broke when he heard a call from above. Curiosity took hold of him. He ascended into the sky at a moderate pace, watching over the land below him as he flew upwards, which seemed to startle the group that was observing him. Finally, he reached the group he saw before. Due to his haste earlier, he didn't truly notice the beauty of Alfia until then. This captivated him for a few moments before he continued.

"I'm sorry, did someone say something?"

Max smiled at Alaric. "You wanna explore the planet, huh? I made the green spot, and I was thinking about exploring the white part. I want to know who made the humans. I suspect there's someone in the snowy part who's like us." Max could tell that, though Alaric was young, he was powerful and would make a valuable ally in the future. And he felt a genuine connection to the young god. Suddenly, someone else joined their growing group. "Hey. I was asking about who made the humans. Any leads?"

"Oh, that's me" he replied. "Just a few minutes ago, in fact. I am pleased to see that they are doing well."

He looked around at the group for a moment, then said "Pardon me. I call myself Herodotus. This is all very impressive. I assume all of you took part in the creation of this world. What are we to do now?"

Alfia, Alaric, Max, and Herodotus-Above the First World: Discussion Between the Gods #1

Alfia, again surprised but a lot less disappointed, looked upon Herodotus with a welcoming smile as she comforted Alaric with her left hand.

"Ah, greetings Herodotus, though I have not created anything within the world as of yet, I feel just as pleased by what is already here." Says the goddess.

Alfia then has her right hand waved in front of her, specks of golden light fell like dust and the universe wavered. The sight of the gods wained as their surroundings changed, they did not move, it was more like the space around them did. Instead of being a great height above the First World, they all stood within a small white gazebo standing high above a mountain range looking over a large flat plain of green healthy trees, with a unearthly tranquility seeming to seep from the air as the eternal twilight born from no sun hangs over every part of the world the gods could see. The only significant feature of the room being a circular table, with which held within it seemingly a smaller version of the world from a top-down view.

As the gods are taking in their surroundings they could, well not see, but feel that they could step out of this room whenever they wanted.

Alfia with another wave of her hand lifted the image so that all of them could see, zooming in closer so that it was viewing the whole of the First World.

"This sanctuary is for all of us and our kin to come to, something I believe will be more appropriate than empty space." Alfia says with a dignified tone. "Now, I agree that we should explore more of this world, since we do not as of yet know everything about it. Especially-" she points to the white northern part of the world "-who created that and what could be there. It would be a good guess that such a place of ice might not be as welcoming as this place." She adds. "Though I am personally tired and must rest, if none others shall go I will soon though." Her voice barely reveling how tired she was, and the feeling of responsibility she had to care for everyone.

Her eyes filled with care almost seemed to flash upon Alfia's shining face, she then stated:

"Of course, do as you please, I'm just worried. If you will, enjoy my creation. Or-" She zooms out to a full view of the world then back down at the green continent. "-explore and interact with the humans." She zooms even further down, all the way down to a single human. Just a simple old man, made old and wise from the beginning, he had no stories to tell but gave advice when he could. Alfia could not help but see the humans with a bit of wonder. Sentient life, so fascinating, though crude looking.

Alfia extends a invite for Herodotus to join the pantheon.

-5 AP Weave Plane-The Court of Harmony: This plane is a place of meeting where anyone may come and debate or talk about any issue with the gods. It has two layers, though most of the gods only know of one of them at the moment.

Council of the Heavens: This layer of the plane is where the gods may meet and discuss issues and topics of interest. It's shape and surroundings may change but it is always in eternal twilight and has the Pool of Creation within the center of the meeting place. One can create or destroy anything upon this plane except that which lies within the meeting place, there actual damage is impossible, though if battles do happen someone could defeat another in just a test of energy, but it's completely non-lethal if humiliating. Peace seeps into the beings brought into this plane, and while the gods might only feel a subtle bit of calm, all others are nearly overwhelmed. Those with black hearts find this place extremely painful, because it fills a part of their heart that they normally don't have/consider, and just a short term exposure could drive them to be extremely self-hating if they are not strong enough or have the capacity to move past such things.

Gods may freely leave or enter the plane at anytime, and it counts as a part of the pantheon that Alfia leads.

The Palace of Green: This part of the plane at the moment is only known by Alfia, it acts as resting chamber for the goddess as well as a throne room for the Fairy Queen. Gods may come and go if they know of it, but find that Alfia prefers guests who ask before entering her personal home. This place is covered with endlessly changing rooms that fit the goddess needs, as the whole of the place is alive and active. Fire of any sort less than divine cannot harm the plants native to here, and the whole of the Palace might show it's subtle will to it's guests if it is disrespected or it's mistress.

-1 Bless-The Pool of Creation: A weak artifact, this device placed in the center of the Council of Heavens allows the gods to view the First World and it's universe from a top-down perspective or that of a focused up-close on certain objects of note. It can only look upon one scene at a time, does not allow for the gods to see use their divine senses to see more clearly, and gods or magically inclined mortals may shield themselves or an area from this gaze easily if they have the proper power (mortals at the time of making this do not). Mortals may be "saved" by a god/goddess for later viewing, though each god can only have one save at a time for each divine rank they have (so for now, everyone has one). Any god can destroy this object, but only if they spend a considerable amount of power (2 AP to counter the bless) otherwise it reforms within seconds. It's appearance may change as the setting it is placed in changes, in a marble room it is a table with a rim leading to the view of stars, in a palace of reds and gold it might be a mirror that looks liquidly and full of stars.

Out of the will to exist, out of the will for order, he became. A slender being in nothingness. In the distance, he saw large balls of light and some sort of sphere with multitudes of different colours. He slowly reaches out towards this sphere, seeking companionship.

It wasn't long before he realized the stars were sentient, but much to his disdain, they were incapable of intelligent conversation. He continues slowly drifting toward the sphere, looking much like a wraith.

In his loneliness, he feels a nudge behind him, followed by a neigh. He turns around, seeing a white horse he must have created unintentionally. It spoke, however in a language only he could understand. He climbs onto it, replying "Hello, new friend". As he floats into the planetoid, he lands onto a green section.

The mortals looked different from him,

This, he didn't like. So, he created a new race. Much like humans, but headless. He called them Dullahan. He guides them, giving them purpose and direction.

-2. Create Sentient Life. The Dullahan are headless human that see, smell, and speak with telepathy. They are currently in the process of building a society.

Sheo wasn't content with his mortals, they were a large series of organized tribes, who had already began to prosper. They saw Sheo as the highest being in existence, having him make the important decisions, and building him a wooden cottage that wouldn't look out of place in a ski resort. In it, was a long table stocked with food eaten only by the chieftains. He joined them in large gatherings and acted like a mortal, with casual gist and needless banter. Despite being sentient creatures capable of speech, he felt the Dullahan weren't Advanced enough. He hops upon Flan, granting a temporary farewell to the society, whilst blessing them.

 -1. Create Concept. Architecture

-1. Bless. Nature itself protects and prospers the Dullahan. Where ever they might be.

Flan calmly asks, "What do you expect to find?"

"I believe there are other beings in this world besides these mortals, I sensed them once I was born."

"And what do you suppose you do if you find them."

"The natural thing, of course."

Flan trots off into the horizon without another word. In what to a mortal would be a few minutes, Sheo had traveled a great distance, reaching a land of numbing ice. The first things that caught his eye is a giant frost throne with another being slumbering upon it. Curious, he calls out to the being, expecting an answer.

Of wolves and water.

"Everyone's waiting for me to start the story then, are ye?" The old man asked and received a chorus of cheers from the clan's children that had gathered around the fire that night. "Alright, alright! Well I aint got no new ones for you tonight so settle down. This next one's an oldy but a goody."

Long ago when the world was still young and few things walked its surface, there wandered Alaric, alone through the woods. You all know about how he found himself within the care of the lady Alfia in her Court of Harmony, but Alaric's was a restless heart and it would be a long time before he'd return to the halls of the gods. He looked for adventure and new things in the fresh earth and so he ran through the fields and along the lakes, all under the verdant light of Aevo. But each night he'd find himself curling up by whatever fire he could muster under whatever shelter he could find and Alaric would feel lonely again in the dark. And so the cycle went on, hope filled days and bleak nights. Little did Alaric know that those days were numbered.

So as I was saying. One day Alaric was wandering through the woods when he found a lone wolf cub, the runt of the litter that had been abandoned by its mother. Of course Alaric knew what it was like to be small and alone. He'd also learned of compassion from the kindness of the other gods... so he knew what to do. He took in the little cub and took care of him as well as any god could. So he called the little cub Howl and Alaric's life changed forever. Under the care of a god, the pup grew stronger than any of his kind could have as the two became partners in crime, filling their days with adventure as they traveled the lands of the frost giants, of Avalon and even the strange lands of the Dullahan. Their days were filled with excitement and each night was now filled with warmth and comfort as even when the fire died Alaric found Howl by his side to keep the dark at bay. And life was good for the two of them.

But only the gods last forever and as the years went by and adventures were had Howl grew larger... and he grew older... and he got slower and older still. Until he couldn't keep up with Alaric anymore. So the little warrior came to a village and they stopped there for Howl to rest. And they stayed for many years, so many that Howl would claim the village as his own and guarded it from other wolves with ease, for he had battled alongside a god and there was no mutt left in this world that could challenge him. The old wolf settled down and while Alaric grew restless, Howl found himself a mate, something his young friend never had time for. And Howl had himself his own pups, who had pups of their own and more then. This was all very boring to Alaric but his bond with the wolf, his best friend, was so great that he stayed as long as howl needed him, following the wolf like a lost pup himself. So his decedents stayed and each of them found humans like ourselves... and they were wolves no more but things we now call dogs and they came in many sizes and colours. They gave comfort, and love, and courage to the humans around them and with Alaric's help people learned to care for and animal instead of just hunting them. And with the help of dogs they gathered sheep and cattle with ease and hunted swifter game. And life became better for it.

But only gods last forever and as the years went by Howl slowed further still, until he could not take another step, until he lay down to rest and never rose again. And Alaric held his bond brother and he wept. He wept the tears any child would upon losing their warmth, their courage, their best friend. The tears of a god flow fast and wild and soon they flooded over most of the world until Alaric's grief calmed itself and memories of the joy his friend had brought to his life calmed the raging waters that had spread out from him and in their wake was left the sea we know, the sea we live by today with its beautiful coastline and all the creatures that live within. In the end the seas calmed even as Alaric begged his friend not to leave him but even gods have to learn about loss, Even they must learn to let go.

"And that's how we got this!" The storyteller spread his arm out towards the ocean that was lapping against the shore nearby. "And how we got these little fellas!" He cheered, ruffling the fur of the little terrier that had snuggled up to his leg. Many of the children around the fire joined in at that, hugging at the necks of their canine companions as their parents looked on wistfully.

And that was how the Dog Clan was born. Sure they may have been smaller than the Avalon clan who currently claimed the crown of high clan but they were the first to learn how to tame the beasts of the land and that made that gave them respect if nothing else. Maybe they'd never claim the crown but they'd always have their place as a people of shepherds and hunters, even warriors, with their war hounds and that gave them a stable place that would give them both a place in history and something to take pride in as a people.

But none of that mattered to one of the onlookers of this story. A young boy with golden hair that sat on the edges of the light. He dressed like any other child of the clan, except for his blue woolen cape with red edging. No one within the Dog clan had access to dyes yet he had this miraculous cape of colours. But then nothing could describe the giant wolf that awaited him on the outskirts of the village. Humans were fun and all but they could sure over complicate things. That was what Alaric decided as he walked into the dark wilderness and found Howl waiting. He wasn't like them, he didn't have to say goodbye if he didn't want to! He'd called out to Howl with all his might and in those final desperate moments the wolf's eyes had opened and his tongue had licked away the last of his tears. Those eyes had glowed with a fresh light that Alaric knew had come from himself, deep down, and he knew it had come from the bond they shared together.

He didn't know what the future held but together with Howl he knew it would be all the better. So he climbed onto the giant wolf's back and the legend spread, of the star wolf and the boy warrior that rode on his back. It was funny, Alaric thought, the stories never mentioned that part. They never mentioned how hair had started growing from his top lip after that either but he figured that wasn't important. He and Howl had plenty left to do and more adventures to have!

Max had begun wandering around the gazebo with the Pool of Creation, marveling at the power that the gods had. He was curious about the second layer of the plane (he had, of course, read about it, for he was aware of when the gods used their power) but was polite and discreet enough not to mention his knowledge. Maybe some other time he found himself alone with Alfia he would ask, but for now, he didn't really care.

Eventually, he left the gazebo and started observing the unique flora all around. A tree nearby was growing a strange fruit, and as he reached up to pick a piece, the branch seemed to reach back and place the fruit right into his hand. He conjured a crystal wine glass in his left hand and, barely hesitating, squeezed the strange fruit and allowed the juice to drip into the glass. Slowly, it filled to the brim with a reddish liquid. He sniffed it briefly, taking in the strong alcohol smell covered somewhat by the aroma of the fruit, then took a sip. It was sweet and strong, with a faint aftertaste. Suddenly excited, he ran back to the pavilion where Alfia was waiting.

"Alfia! Try this. I made wine using the fruit from one of the trees on that path. It's strong, but good."
