Answered I Need Help with templates and I think coding?

I just joined yesterday, and I've recently joined some RPs, but where we'll be posting our characters, the owner/creator of the RP's character post had buttons and other things that led to different things about the character. I've only really RPed on sites like Discord, so I've never seen this before, but it's something I want to learn how to do, as I see a ton of people doing it. Sorry for being a bit newbie, I just have no idea. I looked through the Guide and stuff, but I couldn't spot anything. I think it's BB Code, but I'm not even sure what BB Code is or how it operates. Can anybody help me out?

Yes, as you understood correctly, those templates are BBCode.
We have a section dedicated to that alone here and a tutorial that shows the basics. It will probably be very scary at first, so you can browse through other threads there where people show their templates. A lot of those are free for others to use (please check description and only use those that are allowed!) You can use them as inspiration or something to learn from. And if you have questions regarding BBCode you can ask them in BBCode Center
