View attachment 302108 When Neveah was born, tragedy already struck big time. Complications had occurred during birth that caused her to lose her mom. Doctors thought it was very odd that Neveah actually survived but somehow...she did. Because of this, her father had always called her a miracle baby. (the nickname is gone. do not bring it up unless you want to make her burst into tears). At first things were going great with it being just her and her father, but depression slowly consumed him. He couldn't live without his wife any longer but luckily he didn't decide to take his own life. Unfortunately the remedy to his pain wasn't exactly a good decision. He slipped into the world of alcohol which caused their bond to fade away. He would always drink alcohol until he practically slipped away into a deep sleep. Other times he would be gone for days and then when he would come home, he was never alone. Neveah didn't like the fact that her father seemed to have completely forgotten about her mom. But that was the truth. With every woman he brought home, the memory of his past lover faded.

neveah couldn't stay home any longer. The smell of alcohol was too overwhelming for her and walking past that empty room where her mother slept didn't help either. For most of her childhood, she stayed with her best friend named Xavier. He knew what was going on in her house so he had no problem with her staying over. But the days, turned to weeks. And eventually months. Finally Xavier's mother just decided that Neveah would be better off living with them. At first, the two friends thought it was an amazing idea. they would watch movies together or even go swimming in the backyard pool. Everything seemed to fall back into place. But of course, wherever Neveah went, tragedy always seemed to shadow her. Xavier was known to have mental breakdowns. It never really became a problem but neveah noticed that each mental breakdown he had was worse than the last. In the middle of the night, Xavier had a mental breakdown that became deadly. Going through a fit a rage, Xavier thought it was best to take off. So grabbing his moms keys and zooming through the night was what he did. Neveah couldn't do anything so she waited and waited for him to come back.

He never did.

The next morning, police showed up at the door. They had some...news. Xavier's fit of rage became a distraction to him. Not looking at the road like he was supposed to, he drove right into a big truck. Dead on impact, there was no way they could save him. He was gone. And so was the last living piece of Neveah's heart.

It took a while for Neveah to get over it. But she finally did. Now living in a small apartment on her own she turned to the internet to make some friends. And eventually she did make some friends (all of you). With working at her dream job and slowly recovering from the loss of her best friend, Neveah finally was okay. But she never forgot about Xavier. And she never will forget about him. Instead of focusing on the negatives, she tries to bring back the positive moments she spent with her friend. The ring that she possesses (it was Xavier's) and the job that she has is probably the only thing keeping her sane.View attachment 302755

BIO: All his life, the only family Carter's ever known was his mom and two sisters. His dad's been out of the picture since his mom became pregnant with her second child, Amelia, which is Carter's younger sister. She was born when he was 6 years old, so Carter's only known his dad for a good six years before he left. After that, his mom had one more girl, Samantha, who was born two years after Amelia. Even at a young age, Carter always did his best to keep his mom from finding another husband. Although it may have been a little selfish, he didn't want his mom going through what she went through before. At first, Carter wanted nothing to do with his dad, but after a while, he did some research on him, and found out about his company. Yep, his dad is rich, and he sends his mom child support every month, which he knew nothing about. After learning more about his father, and making sure it was okay with his mom, Carter tried to get in contact with his dad. Eventually, he got in touch with him, and realized how much he wants a dad in his life. His mom doesn't want anything to do with him, but she doesn't blame Carter for wanting to visit his dad sometimes. Their relationship isn't that great, but they're working on it, and Carter hopes to get his sisters to meet him too, because he really just wants them to know that missing part of their family.

PERSONALITY: Anyone who knows Carter knows how sweet of a boy he is. Although he way seem like a fuckboy, and may make some asshole remarks, he doesn't mean any harm. Being raised in a house full of girls, Carter has learned to be very respectful towards women, and to treat them like how he'd want his sisters to be treated. With that being said, he doesn't plan on being in a relationship any time soon, as commitment of any sorts doesn't interest him. Mavis is a dreamer, a star crossed lover kept in her lenses and flickering shutters. She's a photographer at heart and is very sentimental. However, her nature and her job causes her to pretend to be a bit of an airhead - she blames it on the fumes. The young adult speaks her mind, almost having no filter. If she says anything too hurtful, Mavis will instantly feel guilty and become embarrassed. It's hard to get her attention unless you're behind her camera, and she often spaces out in conversation.

H I S T O R Y

Mavis comes from a very wealthy family who paid very little attention to her as a child. She spent most of her time wandering around the grounds of her mansion, and found the love for photography after she was introduced to a family friend. Mavis was taught how to take photos from her young age, and began wandering around with her camera. However, she was home-schooled, often advised to keep herself safe and away from outside dangers.

Due to her sheltered life, she had no idea what the world had in store for her when she was enrolled in an academy during high school. She kept herself quiet and was often avoided (she didn't mind) because of her tendency to never be able to fully focus on things other than her camera.

Her parents, noticing this, gave her a job at the country club as a bartender. She learned to (somewhat) pay attention and lost a bit of her naivete. Mavis did not live an extremely hard life, and she tends not to be able to comprehend more complicated topics such as sketchy morals.

In doing so, she forgot to learn when not to say things, as her thoughts pour out so quickly, which led to complications that will be revealed in a bit.

If you were to ask a middle-school misfit what they wanted to be when they grew up, Lucien Gerard Wynters might come to mind... at least superficially. A teenage rebel who's long since mastered the art of sarcastic one-liners and casual indifference, one could be forgiven for thinking he was nothing more than a shallow fantasy.

Mysterious in nature and extremely introverted, those who manage to break through Lucien's carefully-crafted bad boy persona may end up being quite disappointed. He's truly a pessimistic individual, something he disguises with witty banter and a knack for morbid jokes, yet fails to hide completely.

Though years of depression have left both literal and figurative scars, the sadness hasn't been able to dim Lucien's passion for music and the creepy, obscure things in life. He has an odd talent for finding the strange and unusual, something he's more than happy to share with friends and enemies alike.

Though often lauded as fearless by fans of his urban exploration channel, Lucien is not so brave as he sometimes appears. It's true that things like cemeteries, security guards and horror movies bring him more amusement than fear, but it isn't difficult to terrify the raven-haired boy at all. Commitment, both in idea and reality, is enough to send him running. Love and all it entails leaves him with a mix of sinking dread and bitterness, and he'll go well out of his way to avoid it entirely. Indeed, a rom-com will strike more fear into his freedom-loving heart than any slasher flick ever could.

Even without his bold persona, he's far from being truly antisocial. Lucien values friendship, and while far from extroverted, he'll open up a lot more around people he trusts and may even drop the apathetic act entirely. Be careful, though... once he trusts you, betrayal could destroy him. ​

Biography
The black sheep of a wealthy and successful family, Lucien moved out only a few days after his 16th birthday. Having led a fairly sheltered life, he struggled for a while before finally securing a reasonably nice apartment and learning street smarts the hard way.

Now a know-it-all who seems cynical beyond his years, Lucifer, as his fans and friends call him, has developed his natural charisma and makes a decent living selling the albums of artists with far less artistic integrity than him. His real enjoyment stems from writing and recording his own music, though he's most well known for his urban exploration videos.

Be it skill or natural talent, the kid has a way of slipping past guards, balancing on collapsed floors and getting footage no other explorer would dare pursue. Because of this, he's gained a slight online following, who seems more than willing to support his music and poetry as well.

Of course, he wants more... fame being the highest priority on his list. For now though, Lucien is just hoping to meet the friends that have him a reason to try in the first place.​
