Big baets fir a wee lad, d'ye no think?
Hot was the day. Something special given the usual climate of these mountains.
The last few moments of class were always the longest, especially when the eye was on the clock. Baek, a dark pelted wolf whom's hair, chest and paws were brought out in a contrasting blue dye, sat loosely at his desk, bent over it like a corpse waiting to be treated. His bored indigo hues watched and threatened the ticking clock. What didn't help was the slow and monotonous drone that the droid of a teacher was somehow emitting. That was enough to drive him mental. His eyes switched to an irritated red and his paws closed into fists. "Damn..." He cursed under his breath.
The clock struck half three and the bell deafened him as usual. It didn't so much as irk him however, as he knew that school was finally out for the weekend. Monday was an in-service day too! A three day weekend sounded amazing after the last few days he'd had, block full of preliminary examinations. Exams to decide whether you sat your exams?! Redundancy!
Baek made sure he was the first out of that suffocating building, not letting the stocky dust so much as touch him on the way out. He lived fairly close to the schoo, but home wasn't where he had planned to go. The night before, he had stumbled upon a cave that looked pretty inviting. Maybe he could waste a weekend in there?
