Mina was born to a mother with priveledge out of wedlock. Instead of terminating the pregnancy Mina's mother went into hiding and then gave her away to her father and washed her hands of everything in order to keep from shaming her family. Mina's time with her father did not last long, he was abusive and neglect full. Mina would have died if she was not taken away after the landlord of her fathers building entered the apartment with an eviction notice while her father was away. Mina had been in the care of the government since she was one, so she has no recollection of the short time she was with her biological parents. She was put in the care of foster parents who were just as abusive as her father. When they were not home they would lock her in a closet until they got home, her hands and legs tied and her mouth taped to keep her cries from being heard by the neighbors. She learned how to escape her binds, but instead of running she stayed. She was practical and knew that at her age she would be put right back into circulation into possible a worse home. They found out that she was letter herself out of her binds one evening when they came home early and beat her. There are still a few faint scars on her back from the altercation.
That night the neighbors finally made the call that had her taken away yet again. But this time she was not sent to another home...

history -
Apollo was the first kid in their family and older by a few years. He has a little sister called Jade who he calls JB or Sunshine. In return she called him Moonlight or AJ. His Dad was called Christoph and he's a bad person, a child abuser. His Mom was called Becca who is working an underpaid job to support her kids. Their parents are divorced. They were divorced once she found out he'd been hitting Apollo when she wasn't around. His Dad was a cop and his Mom ended up not getting custody of her children. She went to live with her sister and JB ran off soon after that knowing something bad was gonna happen, promising to keep in touch.

She was right about the bad stuff. Their Mom died in a car accident a month or so later. A rib punctured her lung and she died on the way to the hospital. Apollo couldn't mourn for long. His Dad got even more violent against him and he was bullied at school. He began finding ways to escape. He went to the shooting range and began practicing how to manage, make and shoot guns. He was a natural according to the owner and never missed a head shot. He went to the music room at lunch and began to play guitar and sing. He was pretty good. He flirted with other boys after discovering his orientation and became a seducer. He'd do anything to stay away from his Dad and once he died of liver disease he never cared. An orphanage would be better than that monster.
why are they an orphan - His mother died in a car accident when he was 12. His father was an alcoholic and died of liver disease.

history: Macie was born to a teenage mother who couldn’t abort her, but could’t keep her either. She never knew her mother as she was sent to be the state’s problem as soon as she was born. Her whole childhood was spent in an orphanage watching kid after kid be adopted while she was left behind. No one seemed to want her.

But she was fairly happy, none the less. She loved the owner of the orphanage, and got a lot of her positive attitude and creative skills from her. Unfortunatly her orphanage was low on funding and not a year before she would be released into the world as an adult, it was shut down for good.

Macie was saddened by this, and still wants to keep in contact with the owner even after she makes it to her next home, wherever that will be.
