Ok hello anyone that sees this I have a Nation building RP that is going to have me and a friend as the leaders of two towns now how would I have everyone RP'ing at once with having it be an organized process that can be followed.

Well, you could always create an extra IC RPing tab and limit the nations to their respective tabs.

Do you mean how to you recruit people or how a roleplay would work with out an organized plot?

1. to recruit people I think there are interest checks in the nation building form. If not I might try whatever genre is closest to your project. Like if it's fantasy based make a fantasy interest check, if it's futuristic make a futuristic interest check, etc.

2. to make the roleplay work do something similar to what i've seen on harvest moon style roleplays. basically you have a setting - usually a town - and you just let people apply to members of said town.

Example - You can have people be cops, librarians, bakers, boutique owners, etc.

If you have two towns if they have a rivalry you might let people take on idk rival teams or something.

Yea I understand that much I just don't know how everyone can RP at the same time or if it will have to be a gigantic turn based thing. I would prefer it not to be and have everyone doing RP simultaneously maybe different tabs for different areas like one for a shop and one for workplace or something like that? what are your thoughts on that?

Well you could have tabs for the different towns and if you want key places but that can get kind of confusing if you have too many. Because then you have to keep track of where everyone is and it kind of isolates people.

But. Yeah if there are major places in the town than each one can have a tab.

Otherwise just let people roleplay the same way they do in regular threads

I know what I did, waaaay back in the old-school days of this site (before my hiatus from virtually all internet), was have two "levels" of play. The NB end, and the Character end. Basically, an NBRPer was working on the high concepts. Setting up building projects, making the societal framework, and so on. For a pair of towns? Have the NBRPers be mayors, dictating how their town goes, and the Character-RPers being the people who manage said projects. From mercenaries to engineers, there's a lot of opportunities.

It went relatively well; if I could get everyone active on the Character end, by the time the NBRPer got on for his weekly update of stuff, I'd clue them in on the results of their related operations. Alternatively, they'd have a vested interest and would be all about watching for themselves. Had an RPer or two who would actively participate, making his nation's leader keep an eye on everything and offer new commands as scenarios changed. This was easy to roll with in a Cyberpunk/SciFi setting, though, by nature of neural implants and internet connection being part of the fiction.
