Answered I dunno how to work images.

So I am trying to write posts including images uploaded from my very own computer. When I preview the post, it does not show, and when I try to view the image, it says that I do not have permission to view it. I had heard somewhere that I need to change my permissions to use images, but I don't know how to do that.

My question, if you do not want to read that unnecessary scrawl, is how do I change my permissions so that everyone can view my very beautiful art?

Are you uploading them to the post using the “upload a file” feature or to an album? If the latter, if the album is private, only you can view them.

Are you adding them to the post via the button in the text editor, or leaving them as attatched files?

I am leaving them as attached files and using the button down there next to the files to insert them into the post

Can you do this here please? If you’re putting them into the post I don’t see a reason why it wouldn’t work.

Now that I think about it, it may just be the interface that is confusing me.

When you're doing a preview and haven't actually hit "Post," the images won't load. They're in a kind of limbo at that time, having been uploaded but not "officially" on the site. They should work just fine in the post itself, though!
