I don't know know how to reply

Im really new on here, so I don't know how do much, but for now, could someone please tell me how to reply when someone comments on one of your things. I replied on something but I think I did it wrong

Specifically what are you trying to reply to? 


If it a topic, for example this thread you created, then simply clicking on the box that says 'Reply to this topic' will allow you to respond. 


If it is for a comment on a profile then there should be a 'reply' box underneath the comment saying 'Reply to this status'.


Same goes for conversations.
