Multiple Settings I don't do romance, I do horror! (Multiple scenerios open)

Might be a Soviet Gambler
1) The Bat Queen; Where there was once a benevolent empress, now is a bloodthirsty queen, rumored to be a monster of horrific mass, but whose appearance is unknown. The once beautiful city in the center of the country has been mutilated and twisted into a decaying labyrinth full of monsters and cultists. Every year she demands 2 sacrifices from one of the surrounding provinces, one male, and one female, to make the long odyssey to the center. This year, it is Throlidale's turn to send sacrifices. The Province has elected to cull the poor, unwanted and prisoners, unlike some others who use a lottery system.
The land has been ravaged and destroyed by the 200 year war, but a wise woman rose to power, bringing generations of prosperity and peace to her people, however, it all changed 58 years ago, when she and all of her loyal followers living in the nation's capital disappeared and were replaced by wretched creatures. Civilization fled further and further away from the now cursed city while still clinging to what livable land is left. There were once 14 provinces before what is now known as The Burning Of 5. Five provinces joined forces to fight the Queen, but all were lost. No witnesses saw the battle or even the Queen and her army, just the wreckage and mutilation left behind. It has become all too clear to the citizens of the country, comply with The Bat Queen, or perish.

2) Decay Beyond the Gate; This world is rotting. The Clergy, The Wealthy, The Grand Council have all tried and failed to fight off the inevitable. The only way to slow the spreading decay is to erect massive gates, towering high into the sky and drilling deep in the ground. Few adventurers have crossed the threshold, but none returned. Once a proud veteran, now a single father/mother living in squalor with his/her son/daughter. How will they survive the rapidly advancing doom? will they steal? join the beggars roaming the land? become nobles? or perhaps venture beyond the gate? A decision must be made quickly, as both them and mankind are quickly running to extinction.

3) New Heathrow: Ground Zero; It is said the sands of Ruediso are red because of all the blood that has been shed there over the millennia. 12 massive city-states surround the even more colossal desert, Ruediso, but don't be fooled by the word, this desert is as cold as it is barren. While there is little snow, the blistering winds and shy sun are more than enough to make the red sands seem like a tundra.
Obenberg and New Heathrow have been in a cold war for decades over trade, religious and royalty disputes. On Febuary 18th Obenberg fired it's nuclear warheads on New Heathrow. two survivors emerge from the rubble, but they would have been better off dead. They have to now face the bitter cold, starvation, wild animals and soldiers from Obenberg and perhaps the other City States as well.
Where will they go? How will they survive in such a harsh landscape? What mutations and horrors will they witness in the wake of the nuclear disaster?

This roleplay takes place in a dieselpunk setting, New Heathrow being similar to 1940s/1950s New York City and Obenburg being similar to 1940s/1950s Berlin. This is a retroruturistic story with dieselpunk tech.

4) An Eel Walks Into A Bar...; Outside of 8 or 9 days a year, the road to Farlown is flooded, cutting the Eldritch city apart from the mainland. This Northern England city is shrouded in mystery and suspect, occasionally pulling in the odd tourist in the mood for something strange and eerie, but for the most part it is left alone, almost forgotten by the British subjects. Here, monsters roam the streets secretly among humans, dark magicks and ancient rituals are performed and people often go missing or will change into something entirely different from what they once were. The year is 1989 and the Witch Mafia have some BIG plans in the works, all they need now is an individual with a particular set of skills. Luckily for r them, there is a barkeep that fits the criteria perfectly...

This roleplay is loosely based on a story from The NoSleep Podcast called “A seaside British Pub” and can be found here

5) Harvesters; The Slave Trade is a lucrative one, if you can find worthy enough slaves. Elves and Halflings no longer pull in the kind of money they used to. The most fashionable trend is right around the corner, awaiting discovery, and one group of Slavers thinks they found it; Infernal Beasts. Deamons and The Hell-Denezins find their way to the surface every once in a while but are rare. Imagine the kind of money someone could get by taming a creature. Getting to Hell used to be treacherous, but these Slavers found an undiscovered portal to the infernal dimension. Just go in, grab a few imps and maybe a succubus or two and get out, it won't be hard for these experienced Slavers, right?

6) Glittering Sea; The Great War seemed to have stirred something ancient. Something evil. So much bloodshed and horror woke up a beast deep within the earth, or at least thats what the religious folk say. Earthquakes cracked apart countries, the weather becomes violent, oceans rose and flooded most of the earth, but among all this chaos, some good came about. Humanity was forced to adapt to these changes, advancing technology, science and even dark magicks decades beyond their time. The year is now 1928. Most of the United States is under water, now all that remains is the east coast and most of the southeastern states. A University professor is spending his/her time studying the strange creatures in tidepools when they come across a horrific artifact. Tracing its origins to the arctic circle, he/she is determined to discover it's origins, hiring a guide to take them there. What awaits is a terrible cocktail of cosmic horror, madness and knowledge humans were never meant to know of.

7) This House Runneth Over: It was built in 1978, colonial, 2 story home with beige siding and a 1 car garage. From the outside, it is extremely plain. The house blends into its surrounding town, looking much like the others it shares a street with, but the inside is what continues to baffle and fascinate everyone.
A family with 3 children moved into the home in 1979 where they lived in relative comfort for 9 weeks before all of them went missing. The entire family was last seen at a 9pm church service on Christmas Eve, 1979. When the police searched the home all their belongings were still in the home undisturbed, presents wrapped and carefully placed under the tree, wet laundry sitting in the washing machine, food in the pantry. There was no evidence pointing to a kidnapping It was as if they got up and left. Something even more peculiar was discovered that day, neighbors reported that the rooms seemed larger than they were previously as well as several new closets seemed to appear from nowhere.
3 more families moved into the house, all but one repeating the same eerie disappearance. The last owners moved out in 2007, the reason being “there is something gravely wrong with that house”, reporting strange noises, doors that lead to dead ends, shifting hallways and further horrors. The couple divorced soon after the move, Sarah ******* committed suicide on January 14th 2008 and her ex-wife, Rachel ****** also committing suicide 2 weeks later, leaving their 3 year old son, Nathan ******* in foster care. Nathan claims not to remember any details of the house he once lived in.
The home has indeed expanded, the inside measurements being far larger than the outside measurements. Many new rooms, hallways and staircases have also seemed to sprout from nowhere. The company who built the property is no longer in operation, going out of business less than a month after the house’s completion, any attempts to obtain blueprints have been in vain.
You are a young graduate student who volunteered to work with a team of archeologists to live in the home for one year to try to uncover the house’s secrets. What starts as a simple experiment quickly turns into horror. You and your roommate, a reporter, wake up one morning to find themselves in a labyrinth of doors, hallways and rooms, completely cut off from the rest of your team.

This roleplay is loosely based off of the book “The House of Leaves” and the creepypasta “the Dionea House”. Familiarity with these texts are absolutely not required, however they are recommended, as they are fantastic stories. Also, if you wish to be the reporter instead of the Archaeology student, I would be more than happy to switch roles.

8) Lieth of Flesh and Blood: The garden of Lieth is cursed and all who live in it are cursed. You can’t leave, you and several others have tried. They get to the edge of the thick forest surrounding Lieth and you end up back where you started.
The historian claims that your people have lived in Lieth for almost 150 years. The Madness didn't begin until the 46th year, or so The Historian says. Back then, before The Madness, Lieth was a paradise. Abundant food, warm weather, plenty of fresh water and tasty animals, everyone was happy, but on the 54th day of year 46 when the sun was at the highest point in the sky, The Madness began. The streets were stained in blood and gore. People began to rip each other to shreds. Mothers turned on their children, children bit and tore at one another’s flesh. The once peaceful garden community became hell on earth. Only after the 8th person was murdered did all the citizens come to their senses, only fragments of The Madness remaining in their memories.
And thus, every 58 days, The Madness returns to the denizens of Lieth. They tried to stop it, sacrificing animals to the gods, drugging themselves, locking themselves up, but nothing had worked. The Madness does not stop until the 8th person in ripped apart.
The Madness has just ended, a man/woman is relieved to find that they have survived it, fleeting memories of the horror still floating in their mind. He/She are almost certain they have not killed anyone this time. Now you have 57 days of peace before The Madness comes again.
Among the dead is The Sheppard, the individual responsible with finding a way to prevent The Madness. The new Sheppard is his son/daughter, one of the man/woman’s childhood friends. How will this Sheppard perform his/her duties? Why have the good people of Lieth had to suffer with this for generations? Is there a way to stop The Madness?

This RP is based off of a short story found in the podcast, Rabbits, episode 105 at time code 34:00 to 39:10

Well. Crap. I actually really dig the first prompt; something about obscenely barren of hope situations and eldritch monsters roaming the land that catches my interest. Count me in. I don't see any mentions of contact information; I've a Discord at Kaithe Dame#1196, or, the PM system obviously. Hope to hear back from you.

I love horror so all the prompts pique my interest in one way or another but, I'm probably leaning towards the This House Runneth Over or Glittering Sea and would love to has out one of the plots. I'm new to the site so I can't send messages just yet.
