I can See Hidden Posts Where I Shouldn't

So, in the site questions and information thread, there is a thread titled "No Reply Option" and when I go into that thread, I am able to see hidden posts within it. I do not think I am supposed to be able to see hidden posts here and I do not see the point of hiding posts if normal users are still able to see them even after they are hidden.

That would explain how the thread got so long without my having gotten notifications for it. However, that does not explain why everyone seems to be able to see all the hidden posts.

Actually, I think merging the threads sort of unhid the hidden posts.  Going in myself, I could see that they were red (as if hidden) but they weren't actually hidden.  So I did that.  You shouldn't be able to see anything you shouldn't anymore.


And we merged them because, c'mon people, there's really no need for half a dozen threads on the exact same topic. :/   So we merged them so that we'd only have to reply once to tell everyone it was fixed.
