- Hello there!
I'm Rainer, but you can call me whatever you'd like. I'm twenty-five years old, respond to any pronouns, and live somewhere in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I'm currently working my way, albeit very slowly, towards a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. I also work at a local bakery and spend quite a bit of time playing Tomodachi Life on my 3DS. Although my time is a little all over the place right now, I'm still interested in trying to Roleplay, so here's my interest check!
And if you're interested in writing with original ensemble casts, then read on! - ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐.
My schedule is readjusting at the moment. Mondays and Wednesdays are the days that I'm in class while I'm working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. I'm becoming more of a morning person with each passing day, though for the sake of simplicity, I'll state that I'm usually available at some point between 10 AM to 10 PM EST, unless stated otherwise.

I love talking and plotting out of character. I would prefer to be friends with someone first and Roleplaying partners with them second, so if this sounds uncomfortable to you, then I'd suggest passing on writing with me. I would like to have a writing partner that I could talk to about unrelated topics, including the possibility of another Roleplay should we get bored with our initial idea and want to swap, or need to take hiatuses for any reason at all. When it comes to OOC chatter related to the Roleplay itself, I love making playlists, mood boards, discussing what-ifs, and even occasionally writing one-shot fanfictions! In terms of dropping Roleplays, I should note that I'm 100% ghost friendly and will not hold it against you if you ghost me, even if you decide later down the line that you'd like to write with me, nor will I seek you out if you do ghost me.

Characters are and always will be my focus. I only write ensemble casts with the possibility of a single main character and this is no longer negotiable. I have at least a hundred OCs at this point in my life and I struggle to choose which of my darlings to use, so I like to have more options. When it comes to my casts, I prefer to write diverse ones with a variety of ages, sexualities, gender identities, nationalities, ethnical backgrounds, and so on, so I'm sure that I have someone that would be of interest to everyone! I only use anime-styled and artistic faceclaims as I do not feel comfortable using the appearances of real people to portray my OCs, sorry. I would prefer to write with someone who feels similarly.

I've been Roleplaying for about fourteen years now. I started on Chatango and have since taken a global tour of the internet. I've written on Tumblr, Xat, Skype, MSN, RoleplayerGuild, IwakuRoleplay, Discord, Facebook, and, of course, RPNation. I'd prefer to write on Discord first and foremost through "sessions" when both of us are available for a while, but I'm also open to writing here through threads and PMs. I may be open to other options, too, though you'd have to persuade me.
๐น๐ถ๐บ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐.
I do not write plots involving beastiality, rape, incest, pedophilia, graphic animal abuse, or any form of NSFW sexual content. If spicy scenes appear, then fade-to-black is the only option when it comes to me. I also have no patience for meta-gaming, godmodding, Mary Sues/Gary Stus, and/or forced romance, so partners that commit these cardinal sins will be immediately dropped.

I'm part of the community and most of the characters I write are as well. If this makes you uncomfortable at all, then please pass on writing with me. Having representation in my writing is extremely important to me and this is not a point that I'm flexible on. That said, I also play characters not in the community, but I'm not interested in writing with someone who does not respect the characters that are.

Romance is fun, but it is never my primary focus. I much prefer character development and plot though I'm never against a little fluff as a side dish. I'm open to writing heterosexual, homosexual, and polyromantic relationships as long as there's natural chemistry or it's been pre-planned. I love writing platonic relationships, rivalries, and family dynamics if that's more of your speed too. To me, the perfect Roleplay has all kinds of dynamics.

Cosmic horror, disease arcs, revolution and rebellion, exploring darker topics, etc. I like to include themes of mental illness, addiction, trauma, abuse, transphobia, homophobia, racism, etc, in my Roleplays. I'll never ever glorify or defend any of these issues, but I do like to explore it in character plots or stories and see how they ultimately overcome it. That said, this not permission for someone to come at me with plots romanticizing abusive relationships or characters that are walking angstfests. Bigoted characters are also welcomed, but if it applies to you as writer, then I'll be dropping you yesterday.

I write in third person perspective, past tense, with A- grammar. I prefer quality over quantity. I also write like I'm publishing a scientific journal instead of a novel, so my writing can be a little robotic at times and I'm still learning descriptions, so you'll have to bear with me. You can expect anywhere from one line to one or two paragraphs. I'm somewhat of a lazy writer, I won't lie, so I'd like to write with a somewhat lazy partner too.

I have no love for character sheets, so I am no longer interested in writing them. I will provide faceclaims, basic information, and a single paragraph for each character that I use. - ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐.
I would like to have a partner that is willing to add their own tweaks and additions to whatever plot we're writing. I don't have all of my ideas planned out, nor do I want, so I'd like for people to come at me with their own ideas too. That said, this is not permission for folks to come at me with my own ideas and talk over me with their own wants and desires. If you do that, then I'm dropping you.

I'm twenty-five and I ask for partners closer to my age for comfort reasons. I'd prefer writing with someone over twenty-one, but I'm flexible to write with folks as young as eighteen with reason. I don't have an upward limit in terms of what age I feel comfortable writing with.
๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐.
I would prefer to write with someone that is comfortable with writing an ensemble cast even if this would be their first attempt at it.

OOC talk and plotting is pretty much a requirement for me.
๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ.
I write slow as molasses or as quick as a gun pulled in an old western movie. Whichever you get, I just ask that you're patient with me. Thank you.

I ask that people do not respond to me by literally addressing or regurgitating every point in a post or DM. That's not fun. It feels like I'm having a one-sided conversation with myself after a while. I know this is such a weird thing to complain about it, but it's so draining and it hardly ever adds anything new. Also, I ask that interested parties have read the first two tabs in their entirety before moving on too.
When a new medication, Saganistute, hits trial stages, unexpected side effects occur. Dubbed "Project Wonderland", these trials record some of their voluntary subjects, "Alices", experiencing unusual phenomenon โ such as being able to bend spoons with their minds, predict future events, or briefly be surrounded by a lack of gravity. For the Alices willing to dive down the rabbit hole of Saganistute, though, they may quickly learn how sinister their situation really is.
Has potential to include canonical characters as a crossover. In modern day, folks across the world awake one morning to learn a terrifying truth: the sun has disappeared. Based on The Sun Vanished Twitter ARG, this would follow characters across the world trying to survive in a time of unpredictable anarchy and discover the truth of what happened to their world.Stardust Island is a luxurious paradise home to many colorful figures from all different walks of life. Idyllic and peaceful, happiness permeates like the rays of the sun. Which may just catch some newcomers off-guard. . And possibly even reveal the dark truth of their reality. Inspired by Tomodachi Life, intended to be a crossover of both OCs and canonical characters, but does not need to be played as such.An annoyed college student randomly chooses a handful of people who has slightly inconvenienced them to act as sacrifices for a demonic ritual. Instead of doing anything cool, though, this just releases nine powerful demons of Hell across the world that need to be sent back to where they came from by a ragtag crew that somehow got mixed up in this. What the hell, man?Mismatched weirdos in the modern era ranging from psychics to real witches to vampires to werewolves find refuge in a small town on the New England coastline, Equinox Valley. Offered free education, stipends, room, and board, they're split into teams and tasked with one goal: to protect the towns from monsters as "Guardians". Which wouldn't be such a big deal, really, if were any surviving past Guardians to speak of โ or the town didn't have a conspiracy surrounding it.A world runs parallel to earth. Darkness fell, but once upon a time, it was a fairy tale filled with magic. Stories of its existence can only be found in fiction โ until the day that the letters arrived. Then, one day, someone fell over too.In Halcyon, Espers and magicians both openly exist. Despite this, though, the two sides have been at bloody odds with one another for centuries. Their seemingly endless conflict, however, came to a sudden end in The Final War, after it was interrupted by otherwordly invaders. When Lovecraftian abominations filter into their world by unknown means, the two territories of Regis Maxim and Elslandia put their differences aside to fight together.
That was fifteen years ago.
Nicknamed "Cryptids", these abominations have quite the chokehold over Halcyon nowadays. Some have taken to roaming in "compromised zones" within Halcyon, such as a mountainous region that separates Elslandia and Regis Maxim, now mostly abandoned and referred to as No Man's Land. Others, though, pose a much stronger threat: the ability to blend in with society. Ambitious, cunning, capable of reason โ nobody quite knows the extent of their abilities. Or what they want. All that is known is that they pose a threat to Halcyon and they are not welcome.
And, in order to combat this menace, military academies have begun to appear across Halcyon.A group of college-aged online and/or real life friends set off on a road trip together. They expected to have the summer of their lives, sure, but none of them would have predicted that the supernatural would have any part in that. After hearing a mysterious melody, troubled humans find themselves in a strange world filled with various supernatural creatures! Mostly confined to a mythical town known as Luminescence, the humans quickly learn the rules of this world: Should they wish to stay, they must find a supernatural love interest to dance with at the monthly Lunar Dance. The clock is on and the humans have thirty days. Will they find their special someone or simply be sent back home? Two or more individuals (friends, roommates, a family, a couple, etc.) inherit a mansion that has seen multiple lifetimes. What they didn't expect, however, was for it to be haunted with friendly albeit meddlesome ghosts with their own stories to tell. What kind of lives with these spectres live with their newfound lively companions?- I have more thoughts for their ideas, plus more ideas in general, if anyone is interested in those. For folks that are interested in writing with me, please read the first two tabs to make sure that you're okay with everything before dropping me a PM. If you'd like to discuss more about any of these ideas, please drop me a PM!
Thank you for reading!
