Fantasy Hunters VS Hunted (Not Accepting. Sorry!)

Adalynn_

The Wanderer
You are stuck in a large building. There is nothing but silence around you. You see others around you, but they are all unconscious and chained to a wall, just like you. You have tried to use your powers, but you're weakened and for some reason, cannot find the strength to use them. What the heck happened?

This is reality. Society has turned against your kind. It all started with the one named Elya. She betrayed you all by revealing to the world that there were supernaturals. She agreed to give information to an elite group of fighters, who were formerly scientists. These scientists are determined to find out how you can do the things you do.

Due to the information given by Elya, they have only managed to get stronger and more informed about how to weaken and capture you. But there is hope. Markaerel. There is rumored to be a paradise for supernaturals way into the wilderness, that the Hunters have never found. You must get there. But first you have to get out of whatever this place is. What's your first move?

(Just posting this so it will show up in the listings again. Want to make sure there's no takers before I take it down.)

"Where am I?" I look around and realize that I'm the first person awake. I try to shake myself free of my bindings to no avail. I attempt to wake some of the others to see if they can aid me.

"Hello!?"

(@Alex Zephyr, make sure you post in the Character Sign Up Tab, but you're good for now.)

There was no answer to his calls. Just an echo. The people around him remained motionless and pale.

(I'll join you as soon as I'm done making my bio.)

She grinned. "You're cute." She stared at her clipboard and flipped through pages. "Misterrrrr.... Alex. He should be great fun." She whispered to one of the Hunters. She walked over to him. "Blood test sweetie. Watch where attitude gets you." She sliced his hand and collected some blood.

(Don't worry, my character is going to screw up, and you'll have a chance to escape :P UGH STILL HAVING ISSUES :l Pardon me if I post twice or something)

Grimaces "You must think I'm some sort of villain?" ( My character doesn't like blows to the ego. It sets him off. Have fun with that as you will) "If an orphan steals bread to feed his dying sister, does that make him a menace!? I've done nothing wrong. Can you say the same?" Stands, or similar action, proudly " If I'm a monster then what are these?" Wipes away tears(anger/or hurt tears. Not boohoo tears) After this regains composure. Eyes stop tearing up. whispers " Not that you'd understand...."

She stared at him blankly and handed the vial of blood to another Hunter. She thought about these words, but was confused by them. Pushing this feeling away, she stared at him in his eyes and huffed. "Who said you were a monster?" She stood up and took notes on her clipboard. "This one may have mental instability." She nodded to the others, who took note of it.

Focuses not letting her get to him. Time to switch gears. Huffs back " You're one to talk about instability. First you're calling me cute. Then you cut me?" Shrugs " You could have at least offered me some coffee."

She shrugged back. "Look. Don't take it personally. I'm only doing my job." Marissa looked at the others. "I don't think coffee is dangerous. Just give him some. We have Plan B if it backfires." A man left, fetching some coffee for him. "There. Happy?"

Grins " You have my gratitude. I understand work is work." Chuckles "After work then? You could unchain me" Rattles chains " We could go someplace nice?" Becomes serious " So, what now?"

She glared. "Funny. Don't make me regret being nice enough to give you coffee." The man came back with some coffee and Marissa handed it to Alex. "Well, what's next is the results of that bloodwork. It determines the tests we give you. Sometimes all we can do is just kill you." She laughs.

Laughs back " Hmph tests? Bah! I'll ace them all" Shrugs " Death huh?" Looks melancholicaly at coffee. Sips. Grimaces.

EXTREMELY SERIOUSLY and with a straight face
" Before you kill me, can I have some sugar and cream?" Flustered " I- I don't like black coffee"

Marissa sighs and just stares at the man who brought the coffee. He shrugs and leaves to get cream and sugar. "So, since death isn't necessarily imminent, tell me about your powers. The more you cooperate, the better you are treated." She gave a fake surprised look. "You may even get a cookie!" She chuckled and picked up her clipboard.

EVEN MORE SERIOUSLY THAN BEFORE!!! " What kind of cookie?" "Ahem" Regains composure " Tell you what for every question you ask me. I'll answer as best I can. In return you do the same." Stares " OR you could always just kill me"

Marissa thought and nodded. "Deal. Okay, first, describe your powers as briefly as you can. I just need to figure out where to place you in these categories." The man came back with cream and sugar and a bag of assorted cookies.

Resists urge to skip towards table. Instead walks calmly. Grabs one Chocolate Chip and one Macadamia. Ignores oatmeal.

Pours (not literally) his coffee into the sugar and cream. Turns and looks at Marissa. Smirks
"Ice" Chills coffee with ice.

"So. What do you do around here? Besides you know flirting and cutting people?"

She punched his face and gave him an aggravated glare. "Don't crack jokes. I will not tolerate it." She wrote down some things and sipped on some coffee. "I will not hesitate to chain you back to that wall and leave you to die."

Holds breath. Barely keeps composure. Tears up. The room chills slightly. Coldly responds " Fine. A deals a deal though. Kill me if you must. But answer my question before you do."

She felt a twinge of regret for punching him, but moved on. "I work for my mother. We capture supernaturals and find out why they are the way they are. Some of the best scientists in the world reside in this building. Not much more to my life... I was raised this way." She continued taking notes, noting physical appearance, behavior, and various vital signs

Still sulky from before. Replies seriously "Hmm. Why the force? Wouldn't things be easier with cooperation?"

" Just look at how well we get along" Chuckles slightly.
