Despite the early hour, the city of Colby was wide awake and buzzing with activity. Locals and merchants were going about their business, and the guards posted at the fortified gates were unbolting its heavy wooden doors to officially start the day.
Stood off to one side, out of the way of the medieval traffic that rattled by, stood a dignified looking gentleman hugging a large ornate book to his chest - Professor Hatkins.
The human was tall, with slicked-back black hair that had begun to grey at the sides, and long sharp eyebrows that formed a very stern ‘V’ shape. He was finely dressed and wore a long navy cloak which brushed against the cobbled street.
The Professor drummed his fingers on his crossed arms as he awaited for the arrival of his escort from the Hunter’s Guild.
