There's this plot I would like to explore, where your character is a vampire hunter, while mine would be a vampire, except they are in disguise, pretending to be a hunter as well.
Ideally it would take place in a modern world and, what I would like to introduce you to, is a rather uncommon take on the whole concept of vampirism.
I'm gonna share more details below, but first, here's some information you should know about me if we are going to RP together:
️ I usually reply with 3-4 paragraphs, but when the story needs more background I will probably write more than that. The length of replies will vary depending on what's going on in the RP.
️ English is not my first language , but I strive to be as literate as possible, so I expect my roleplay partner to at least give it a try as well. Grammar shouldn't be an obstacle to creativity.
️ No one-liners or 1st person roleplays, please.
️ I RP in past tense, I'm not comfortable with using the present tense in RPs.
️ My time zone is CET and sometimes I can be slow at replying, mostly because of work and life generally being busy.
️ OCC talk is fundamental to me, to share ideas and truly build the RP together, I believe a RP is more exctinging when it's enriched by the creativity of all of its participants.
So anyway, back to this vampire x hunter story, here's the deal!

The idea behind our story would be that a vampire is actually a parasite in control of a dead body. The moment the host dies, the parasite takes control of it and feeds off of blood to constantly regenerate cells. Vampires can live forever and, with time, they learn to mimic human emotions.
A well fed vampire won't show any vampiric symptoms, none at all, which is how my character would pretend to he a hunter at first.
But then, if they don't manage to feed often enough, the symptoms will start to gradually show. They will become paler, their eyes will lose their color, turning sort of whitish and their skin will become increasingly sensitive to sunlight, until eventually, if they are weakened by starvation, sunlight can be enough to kill them.
The other way to kill them would be damaging their heart. The parasite would attach itself to the heart and become one with it. So if the heart is destroyed, be it with any sort of weapon or fire, the parasite dies along with it. Wounds to any other area of their body will heal rapidly, unless the vampire is weakened by hunger, then it would take them longer to heal.
When a vampire dies, they instantly turn into what their dead host would have looked like if they had never been infected. A young vampire will turn into a decomposing corpse, with flesh and all, a very old vampire will become dust.
They also can't give birth. The only way to create a vampire is to feed a human vampire blood. That blood would be infected with this sort of "spores", the first of these particles that reaches the heart becomes a dormant parasite. Then the moment the human dies, the parasite awakens. If the human bleeds to death, the parasite will awaken within hours, to hunt for blood. In case of any other cause of death, the parasite will remain dormant for various days, feeding off the the blood that's left in the corpse.
So that's pretty much the background, which can of course be changed and improved.
As for hunters, your character might work for an organization which has access to a very powerful serum that comes in shots they can inject into themselves.
While they are under the effect of these injections, not only will their blood have an unpleasant smell to vampires, but any vampire who bites them will face an agonizing death.
So my character might join the organization with the intent of undermining it from inside, for a number of reasons.
He would end up being assigned to your character, as their partner.
I would absolutely like this to lead to romance, but it would have to be something slow and gradual.
Later throughout the story, once mutual feelings have built up. Your character would end up finding out about the true identity of my character.
Ideally, my character would be male, but yours can either be female or male, depending on what you are more comfortable with.
