  The world of Hunter x Hunter is divided into six continents similar to the ones on earth, separated by an ocean that remains unnamed for the time being. The continents actually recognized, however, are only three. These continents are Azian (red), Yorbian (green), and Padokia (orange). The unknown continents are grey.

  The country of Azian is coincidentally in the shape of a Europe turned 90 degrees counter-clockwise. It is made up of only one known country which is located right in the middle of the continent, Kakin.

  Padokia
  
  
  A relatively new continent, once being the name of a small country known as the Republic of Padokia. It contains the famous Kukuroo mountains, owned by the now infamous Zolydock assassins, as well as Whale Island.

  Meteor City
  
  A junkyard city located on the edge Azian, that is commonly known as the other countries dumpster grounds. There are no inhabitants of the place, according to official records, but it is well-known by those about the world that the city is filled the brim with trash, and unregistered citizens. There is so official information on its founding, but it is said to be a city controlled by the Mafia and a training and recruiting ground for their members. Additionally, the famous gang known as the Phantom Troupe was said to have sprung from this dirty city.
  
  
  
  
  

  
  
  Yorknew City
  
  Located on the Yorbian continent, the metropolitan city is known for being the largest on the continent. It is controlled by the Mafia and because of this is known for housing its annual illegal and legal auctions that extend from the 1st to the 10th of September. It's most famous auction it is known for is the world's largest and most illegal auction: the Southernpiece Auction, in which the world's rarest and most valuable artifacts are accumulated into one place.   Heaven's Arena
  
  The fourth largest building in the world, as well as one of the most notable landmarks on the country of Padokia, it has 251 floors and often houses about thousands of people each day. Daily, matrial artists gather to battle one another to advance up the floors, which include about 200. Those who participate are payed great amounts of money for each competitor they defeat on all of the floors from 1-199, the money increasing as you move up. Reaching the 200th floor, competitors are no longer payed, but told to fight for nothing but honor and glory. Those who are able to defeat 10 of the competitors get the chance to challenge a Floor-Master, those known honorably as the most powerful members of Heavens Arena. Becoming a Floor-Master guarantees the person being set for life. They are given a whole penthouse floor to keep for themselves, and are payed millions for each day they reside there.
  
  
  
  
  

  
  
  Kukuroo Mountain
  
  An inactive volcano located on the continent of Padokia in which the famous Zolydack family of assassins resides. The land around it, as well as the volcano is owned by them and few are allowed in. A forest surrounds the volcano, one where a great beast no one knows the name or species of resides, killing any who dare to venture the great walls surrounding the land.
  
  
  
  
  

  
  
  Shidari Forest
  
  A large forest that contains many magical beasts. Despite its many trees, the forest is barely hidden from the daylight, and sunlight often streams through, blinding those who dare to venture into the place.
