Hibernate and vibe
BACKSTORY:
30 years ago humanity had been shook to the core. A force of unknown breached into this dimension, unleashing forces that were up until just stories and fairytales. This incident was called "The Gate" and it had brought about it supernatural beings from all across the imagination. From those that humans have heard of like that of vampires and werewolves, to the more uncommon as that of the neko and fairy dragon. All beings had crossed the gate and into human world. It seemed as though everything stood still, the heavens above and hell below watched with baited breath to see who would strike first. Humans were known to be fearful of what they did not know and the supernatural had been preserved as having god like complex to take over those that were weak.
But by some stroke of luck nether side attacked. Leaders from all sides came together to work out peace, it seemed as though the supernatural were just as confused as the humans and were in no position to start a war. Excluding a small few who had voiced their ideals of taking over the lands and ruling them with iron fist, they were quickly squelched by the majority. No, peace was what was brought upon the humans and supernatural. It seemed as though things would be good.
And it would have been good if those small few who had the ideals of ruling the lands and the humans had been taken seriously. Though they were ignored and pushed aside by the rest of their brothers and sisters they saw that working together they could create a faction that could indeed bring about their ways, bring about the uprising of supernatural and ruling over humanity. Breaking away from the rest of their pack those who wanted nothing more than domination created a new faction. They called themselves The Coven.
This was then how Athena was created, a government organization with trained humans and supernatural that are to keep an eye on everything that is going on and to keep any Coven activities down. Some see Athena as heroes, some see them as overstepping lines. It depends on who you ask though. For the most part Athena has kept humanity and supernatural at peace from both Coven and each other.
With Athena taking on the bigger targets another program was created, Bounties. Smaller targets that couldn't be bothered by Athena were handled by guns for hire, or Hunters as they like to be called. Law enforcement from towns or city are allowed to place bounties on any rogue supernatural that is causing harm and a Hunter can take the bounty. There have been times where Coven have been placed on as a bounty due to the town being too small and unable to wait for Athena to reach them.
It's been 30 years now, 30 years of new rules, new cities, new lives and new ways to go. However what remains the same is that The Coven remains a threat and their time for an uprising is coming.

WELCOME TO HARTFIELD:
The desert seemed like a strange place for an opening. Normally Hunters, Athena and Coven preferred the city life or some place that wasn't so hot. But we join our Hunter, Harper who seemed to not be bothered by the fact of this or that she was in a small town. What bothered her was the heat and the looks that the locals gave her as her truck pulled into a small diner called Ma's Diner.
Ma's Diner seemed to be the calling spot, as after Harper entered the diner other Hunters followed suit. First was Val'sharra, but it is easier to call her Val to the human and non demon tongue, who had spotted Harper at the back and made her way towards to converse with the werewolf. Next was Hemlock, a witch who was collecting ingredients around the desert before entering the diner. Unlike Val, Hemlock did not join them and instead sat by herself.
Third was a human named Casey, a Hunter who was on a bounty for a vampire, that was wanted for the deaths of 5 people and 1 officer. The vampire also had connection to the Coven, so Casey was interested in bringing the vampire back alive for a higher bounty by Athena.
The next patron to enter was a fairy dragon named Selef. He was in Arizona to drop a package off to a person and once in the diner could smell all the magical scents. He decided to stay for a little bit to see what would happen and also take a much deserved snack break.
Fifth was Nava, part of no faction she happened upon the diner and noticed how it full of Hunters and thought it was a secret meeting place.
Unbeknownst to everyone they were being watched by a Coven member named Silver. They seemed to have an agenda of targets and liked to cause grief to one of the Hunters, Casey by slashing his tires while no one noticed. She then took off after Harper and Val, who had left the diner moments before.
After Silver departed Farron, another werewolf showed up right as Casey noticed his tire was slashed and was questioning Nava and Selef if they did it, due to the two hanging around his truck. Farron seems to have an idea as to who or what might have slashed the tires and is trying to get their attention.

For Val her reason to be Hartfield was for a hunt and to bump into a Hunter was a blessing. She asked Harper to have her as a mentor, which Harper wasn't kin on, but after almost making a scene with breaking a table with her strength she took the demon quickly and the two left the diner to get a bounty. Harper went over the rules for Val to follow, no flashy moves, take her orders and start with small bounties. The two have made it to a sheriff department and have picked up a bounty to take on camel spiders that have infested a pig farm.

Hemlock and Casey, though have nothing in common talked a bit in the diner, mainly to Hemlock starting it. Casey informed Hemlock about his bounty and what the vampire has done. She told him that she could track him down with a spell. All seemed to be looking up until an unknown being slashed Casey tire. The hunt as of right now is at a stand still until they can either get a spare tire or find a new ride. But it seems a partnership is forming.
SHADOW THE DRAGON:
It's no secret that dragons are rare in this world so to see a fairy dragon out in the open caught Nava attention. She quickly went outside before Selef could leave and the two began to talk and quickly got along. Selef was friendly and shared information with Nava on how she could get in contact with the same people that he worked with and she asked if she could shadow him for a day. The two, out of all of the people that have made contact with each other seemed to have hit it off the fastest. Now they were trying to aid Casey and Hemlock with changing his tire and the sound of magic had caught Selef attention.
AWAKEN HIVE:
A new faction has just awoken and is slowly making it's move. It's leader Ophelia has already had her team hack into the security systems of the town and they are now in control of the cameras. Next was to dispatch and begin their operation of creating a utopia by any means necessary and it seems they already have a target in mind, Casey.
THE BEAST UNLEASHED:
As Harper and Val were getting ready for their hunt they didn't know they were being tailed by another werewolf, Silver. They soon became distracted when music was heard back at the diner but they had a feeling it wasn't good. Harper made the call to go back to the diner to inspect it and as they were about to leave that was when Silver attacked, lunging at Harper who managed to dodge the attack. She ordered Val to get to the truck and stay out of the fight, but by being distracted she allowed Silver another chance to strike. And this time it hit its mark. Latched onto Harper's neck the older werewolf was stunned and caught off guard. Val needed to help her partner out before it became a blood bath.

COME ONE, COME ALL TO SEE A SHOW:
Back at Ma's Diner chaos had ensued. The Hive had made their presence known by creating what looked like a pop up concert to the normal eyes but to those that were trained it was not a normal pop up concert. Those that were in the diner were now scattering outside trying to figure out who these people were when they were then yelled by a woman named Farron that if anyone could fight they need to fight. Whoever these people were they didn't come to just play music, they came to destroy but also seemed to have something else planned and had someone that they wanted. They seemed interested in Casey but for the reason it is still unclear.
WE HAVE WHAT WE CAME FOR:
With the attack on Ma's Diner and the fight between Harper and Silver both sides did not realize that this was a ploy. With her order, Ophelia directed her Hive to execute their plan with Casey but also to add Silver. Invisible to the eye Galadriel had been ready in case her master had changed her mind on the plan. Without even batting an eyelash she had Silver in her sight and fired a syringe full of an unknown drug.
At the diner the same had happened to Casey. Unknown to the eyes and distracted by the chaos, no one knew that he was being targeted until the Hunter was hit with the unknown drug. As the two targets were hit Ophelia ordered the concert to be halted. And just as quickly as they came The Hive vanished.

FIGURING OUT WHAT TO DO NEXT:
After The Hive had left Silver was in no condition to fight Harper, the older werewolf knew this but with the music gone and the air quiet something told her that they needed to investigate what the hell had happened and leave the young feral for another day. Allowing Silver to leave, Harper jumped in the back of the truck with Val, who was holding her shotgun at the ready and gave her a look that told her to drive them to the diner while she herself allowed her body to heal and stayed in her wolf form.
The demon was more than happy to take charge and show off some of her skills that the older hunter earlier had told her not to do and with a pop of the wheel panel and a hot wire later the duo were racing to the diner ( It should also be noted that Harper was not pleased with Val driving skills, nor pleased with the fact that the wheel panel was popped out.) where everyone was, still gathering their thoughts and putting the pieces together.

ATHENA IS HERE TO HELP:

Two agents quickly came to Hartfield, an arachnoid named Vivx'Xka (Vic is easier), who was already stationed in Hartfield for classified reasons and a mage named Gordan. All three agents took the accounts of what had happened to Casey, who was injected with the unknown serum and questioned Val as her and Harper rode up quickly. The sight of more agents made Harper stay in her wolf form, that caught the eye of Gordan. He quietly took a picture of her in hopes to get a hit on the database back at HQ, not knowing that Val used some sort of her own powers to distort the image.

SNAKES IN SHADOWS:
Like many things in life there are indeed snakes in the shadows and Athena has a deadly serpent slithering in it's headquarters. Markus Dupree was the black mamba of snakes. Sent in by The Coven to spy he takes his job with glee, eliminating those that get too close or are just a pawn in his game. Mai Huynh was the first to be bitten by this snake, under the guise of a romantic dinner in the country side she didn't know that this was instead a stage being set for a trap. Once the little mouse was ensnared in the trap it was too late for her, the romantic dinner turned into a hit job, Markus showed his fangs to her for just a flash of a second before the woman was shot in the head.
The second to be bitten by the mamba was Anthony Ortega. He didn't know that he had walked into the den of a killer and was having a normal conversation with Markus about how they wish that somehow images of doctored photos could be fixed quickly. With a flash of an eye and a shine of his teeth Markus made Anthony's wish come true, though the man will never see the progress due to quickly being snuffed out by the killer after the wish.
Now Markus seeks a new victim to suppress his hunger and to cause more chaos in Athena.

POWERS OF THE ELEMENTS:
With the long day past them it seemed that everyone needed a well deserved rest. Some were at Desert View Inn, others were hiding in the elements trying to figure out what had happened during the fights. But what no one knew was that the serum coursing through Casey body, who was located with the other agents at the inn and Silver body, who was hiding in the shadows, was now becoming active.
Casey body became hot like fire while Silver's became cold like ice. Both parties did not know how or why this was happening but the sudden change wasn't a walk in the park. Casey and Silver couldn't guess what was going to happen next after the sudden power change but like all gut feelings it wasn't going to be good.

VOICE OF THE COVEN:
With the buzz of The Hive stirring it has caused the attention of the voice of The Coven to come out of his slumber. Aguruth, a gargoyle who had started the movement of uniting the supernatural and bringing down humanity was not going to stand for a new faction to play his game of chess. He was never one to share when it came to playing with others. Having an emergency meeting with the other heads of The Coven Aguruth had decided that not only was it a stroke of luck that one of his agents was already down at Hartfield but that he would personally see to it that any more happenings from this new faction would be taken care by him. Hartfield did not know that they have just entered into a battle between two dangerous factions and beings.

The Hive have made their move. Releasing the dragons that were created to test both Silver and Casey of their new powers. And only those two could harm and destroy the dragons. Pass the test and they live to see another day. Fail the test and they were to die and seen as a failed subject. The red dragon was located at Desert View Inn, where Casey and the Athena agents were staying the night. Oh and there was another wrench in the game, Athena agents could not get in the middle, unless they wanted to be harmed.
But it seems that Casey has a friend on his side, Val from the day before was also at the inn. She seemed to know a thing or two about what was going on and also seemed to know how this game was to be played. Shouting out for Casey to use his powers and not his guns she was going to see to it that this dragon was brought down and The Hive wasn't going to win.

Sensing a bigger fight coming Harper took off to face against The Hive, leaving Val behind believing she would be safe. It wasn't that she wanted to go fight either. The mentor was on her way to get food for both of them and wanted to let her partner rest from the long day. But when the announcement came about Casey and Silver needing to prove themselves and how there was a rematch at Ma's Diner, the werewolf couldn't back away. However this fight was going to be short and not in her favor. Galadriel was stronger than the Hunter expected and even warned her to leave the area, due to this no being her fight. But Harper was prideful and never backed away. With a quick explosion after transforming she didn't know that other members of The Hive were with Galadriel, ordered to fire at her but not kill her.
Broken body and broken mind Harper came to the bitter reality that she failed and was wrong to try and fight the unknown enemy. To drive salt in the open wound Galadriel refused to kill her and outright said it was a waste of her time. But she threw the dog a bone and injected her with the serum. Now this filthy dog needs to prove herself.
