What order is this in? And what does it mean if it's bold? It can't mean there's new activity because I would've gotten a notification for it.

I've followed the boards, why hasn't it given me the notification?

The notification system should never be trusted.  It's always faulty.  Follow individual threads if you can.  Notifications will be more reliable.

The notification system is reliable but the settings themselves are finicky. Click "Follow" again on the forum and make sure you have selected the option to receive notifications for new content.

Also, subforums are not followed even if you follow an HP or forum.
