HP ~ Marauders Era ~ 1x1

Hullo! Message me if you're interested, here's what I had in mind:

We are best friends of Harry Potter, instead of Hermione and Ron, and while using a Time-Turner we have an accident, sending us back to the Marauders Era. Combined with our knowledge of the future and the fact we've erased twenty years of the future, we set out to stop the war before it's begun. Who knows what happens along the way!

Yay!! :smile 2: I'd love to join... except... i'm not exactly sure how to do it... Do you talk like you're the character (1st person) Or in some bizarre 3rd person mode, because I thought it was first person for the longest time, but about an hour ago I went on this one RP website and everything there was in third person and I was so confused :)

[QUOTE="Saikhan Rose]It's still open, if you'd like to join! You'd be the first, haha.

Great! :D I usually do it in third person, but I'm perfectly okay with doing it in first if that makes you more comfortable :3

I'm actually totally fine with either, but are most in 3rd or 1st here? Also, with this, am I officially accepted or do I need to like fill out a character sheet or...

Also, just so you know, I think your idea is ingenius! Super cool!! :smile 2:
I'm sorry it took me so long to reply, but my parents tampered with my computer so it shuts me down at 11. :meh:
Also, does Harry find the time turner with us? Or is it just us two?

All the role plays I've done have been in third person. And thank you! :3

That's horrible! The inhumanity!

It could be either. I think it'll be easier with just us too, though.

Okay, thanks. :3

I totally agree on the computer thing being completely awful... they monitor everything on here... :(

I also think it would be easier with just the two of us. :big grin: So do you want to like write character bios or just start or what? Cause this seems super exciting and I can't wait to begin!! Also, what year are we in? I think we should be in the same year, because, you know, it would be easy and all, and same house as well, but it's whatever you think. I stayed up until 1 working on my ipod on this, but if its too much or isn't good, just tell me and I can come up with something else. All the other roleplay thingers wanted these, but since this was a 1x1 I wasn't sure, so I made one anyway:

Name: Liz Malfoy

Year: whatever, either one works.

House: Gryffindor (although it was really close, she was almost in slytherin)

Personality: Liz is a complete and total rebel. Ripped jeans, motorcycle magazines, you name it, she has it. She's really funny once you get to know her (although she might seem kind of intimidating and mean on the outside) and is super loyal to her friends. She is really a jerk to the majority of slytherins though (especially her younger brother) and is an awful enemy. She constantly gets in trouble with teachers for fighting in the halls, and being 'disrespectful' during potions.

Appearance: tall, thin, shoulder length, incurably frizzy blonde hair, pale blue eyes always filled with maliciousness.

History: she grew up in the Malfoy manor with her stuck up parents and annoying jerkish twin brother. They tried and tried (and are still trying now) to raise her to be the perfect prejudiced pureblood, but every time they tried to convince her to conform she just got more and more hopelessly rebellious. Spoiling failed, she just sold all the perfect pureblood objects they gave her and used the money to buy quidditch posters. Positive reinforcement failed, because, they soon found out there really wasnt anything to praise. And they were too scared to try out any form of ill treatment. Liz was incredibly nice to Dobby though, saying he was irresistably cute, and cursing her twin every time he was mean to the houself.

Magic Major: Care of Magical Creatures or Quiddith. Liz absolutely LOVES the Care of Magical Creatures, she's completely obbsessed with dragons and giant spiders and werewolfs, and pretty much everything that terrifies everyone else. She also loves quidditch, she played keeper before, at home, but got beaten out by Wood, so ended up playing beater for the gryffindor team. She was pretty ticked off after the tryouts, but once the first game with Slytherin started and she found out Draco was on the other team, Liz was ALL over the idea of hitting dangerous balls with a bat towards her brother's face. Her excuse everytime people got mad at her because she hit him being: "you can't really even tell i hit his face, it was already so immensely deformed, i think the dent from the ball actually made an improvement. Your welcome."
if you wanna start on the train, seems like a good idea with me, but like I said, anything works.

I think we should be in 6th year. I agree, same house. I'm going to make mine and I will try my very best to hurry because I'm excited as well! Your's looks fine! I love it :D After I post mine, I'll start, alright?
Name: Evangeline (Evan) Weasely

Year: 6th

House: Gryffindor

Wand (I added this, sorry); 14 inches, beach wood, core is essence of pixie hair

Personality: Evan is bright and outgoing. She will talk to everybody and anybody, always giving them the blunt truth. She doesn't beat around the bush. She's pretty easy going, and try's not to get angry with anybody but her Weasely temper does shine through every now and again. She's taken after her two twin brothers, Gred and Forge, and is rule breaker. Evan is quite random sometimes and very giggly,

Appearance: Picture, the eyes are dark brown and she's about 5 feet 6 inches

History: Evan has grown up the dysfunctional home commonly know as the Burrow. She's lived the Weasely life and she doesn't mind a bit, loving her whole family. She has a soft spot for her sister Ginny, always yelling at the people who try to tease her. She's known as an intimidating figure, being best friends with Harry Potter and Liz Malfoy, combined with her own blunt attitude.

Magic Major: Evan loves Charms and Quiddich. She's always amused with convincing Percy to use charms to paint her room a variety of colours. Her signature pranks usually include charms, whether it be a hair changing, skin changing, underwear changing charm, she'll cast it with glee. Her favorite Quiddich team is the Holyhead Harpies, and she's one of the Chasers for the Gryffindor team. She loves being able to play with her two best friends, and is always up for practice. Except when it rains.

She hates rain.

Its AWESOME!!! Here, I'll attach a picture of Liz, and then we should probably get this started!! :big grin::big grin::big grin:

Just... imagine she's a real person and not an anime... I couldn't find any online non-anime matches, I tried to use one from an anime that I actually know (the only one pretty much being avatar) but I really didn't want to attach a picture of Yue (the only avatar character I could think of that even mildly looks like Liz) but she absolutely has no personality resemblance to Liz, and I thought that would be a little weird, so this was honestly the best pic I could find... Lets get this started! :)

((Alright! P.S. I LOVE Avatar!! :3))

Evan Weasely lugged her trunk behind her as she stepped on the Hogwarts Express, grunting in the effort of pulling the heavy luggage along. She shoved many people out of the way, yelling at them to 'Make way for Weasely'. Most obliged, seeing as her reputation preceded her, and she found an empty compartment. Evan seemed to realize she had a wand, and she pulled it out, levitating her trunk into the overhead. She flopped onto the seat, breathing a sigh as she waited for her two best friends to arrive.

((I just wanted to make sure, but is this long enough? Some people write longer so I wasn't sure...))

The door to the compartment swung open violently and Liz Malfoy walked in angrily, looking immensely annoyed about something. Her twin brother started to walk towards the compartment but Liz immediately slammed the door as soon as she saw him. Liz flopped down casually on one of the seats and chucked her trunk up to the overhead.

"I swear if I have to spend one more summer with that idiot..." She complained to her best friend, Evan.
((Avatar ROCKS!! and the length is awesome!)

((Yes! And great! :D ))

Evan nodded sympathetically, not fazed by Liz's violent entry. "You could stay at the Burrow. Merlin knows my mum adores you," she said to her, pulling the sleeves of her 'E' knitted jumper over her hands. It was red and gold, just like it was every year. But Evan liked the Gryffindor colors, so she never complained about it, unlike Ronald.

(hey, so are you okay if we have Sirius still in askaban? if not, just say so and ignore the part about Lucius telling me he was in prison, i'm sorry it took me so long to reply, my parents took me and my siblings to Despicable Me 2 also, are you a Zutara fan or Kataang?)

"Yeah..." Liz exclaimed, shaking her head bitterly. "But the odds of my parents actually letting me visit the house of someone who's not a 'perfectly prejudiced pureblood' are about as thick as there still being a piece of treacle tart left after the first years discover it, and, let's face it, that's never gonna happen." Liz sighed, starting to pick at her already ripped nails. "I hope Harry had a better summer than mine. My dad found that stack of motorcycle magazines I collected and started chewing me out, saying I was gonna turn out like my 'deranged second cousin' who's now in askaban for murder. I said living with dementors would probably be better than living with a family like them." Liz tugged on a strand of her helplessly frizzy blonde hair and glanced out the window at the zooming landscapes. "Draco convinced me into playing quidditch with him nearly every afternoon over the summer, I'm almost gonna feel bad for the Slytherins when we play them. Not only because we have the best beater, chaser, and seeker in the entire school, but also because now, they're stuck with a severely injured seeker." She smirked in mock maliciousness and looked over at Evan. "How about you? How was your summer?"

((Thats fine, because we'll just be going back anyhow. That's alright, life happens sometimes :) and I love both, but I really like Zutara the best))

"I feel you. I mean, even my family's not that crazy," Evan said with a snort, cracking Liz a grin. She hated that her friend had to live with the Malfoys. They were such a Dark family, always dabbling in the Dark Arts, except for a select few. Liz being one, obviously. She silently agreed with her. Having her should sucked out seemed more pleasant than living with Daddy Malfoy and his mistress. At the mention of her summer, she groaned. "It wasn't nearly as bad as yours, but Fred and George have been testing their Weaselys Wizard Wheezes products on everybody, even mum once. They tried or of their Ton Tongue Toffees on me and you can bet they never did it again," Evan winked, letting her revenge on the twins stay unsaid.

"Where's Harry?" she suddenly wondered, looking around their compartment.

(:3)

Liz laughed once she saw Evan's wink, and looked around the compartment, confused. "Dunno." She replied, a confused glimmer reaching her pale eyes. "I would've thought he'd be here by now." Just then, the train lurched to a start, and Liz sent Evan a worried look. Liz opened the door and peered to either side of the train cautiously. "Harry?" She called, leaning her head out to the right side. "Harry? Harry James Potter I swear if you dare hide in another compartment and jump out to scare me, I will blast you halfway across this train..." Liz exclaimed, only half joking. She bit on her nail nervously. "Maybe he's just... running late?"

"He'd better not have another flying car incident," Evan joked, stepping into the hallway. Taking the car to school hadn't been one of her proudest moments, but it seemed logical at the time. "Maybe we should look for him? He might be sitting with Ginny. Merlin knows he's head over heals for her," she said, rolling her eyes. He hasn't said anything about her, but Evan knew a crush when she saw one.

((Do you like Kataang? Or Zutara?))
***heels

((Sorry it took so long... once again, my parents have control over my computer, and thought I was 'spending too much time on it' my mom's at a dinner party now and should be there for another hour and a half so I think i'm safe...))

Liz laughed, rolled her eyes and started to walk out of the compartment. "Honestly... If he's in another compartment flirting with her I will never let him forget it." She flashed Evan a smirk. Liz started to walk down the thin aisle and beckoned for her friend to follow, then, she started to peer through the glass of each and every compartment, waving to the Gryffindors, smiling at the Hufflepuffs, making funny faces at the Ravenclaws (most of which were to busy reading to look up and pay attention) and sticking her tongue out at whatever Slytherins she caught sight of. She looked and looked and looked, but there was still no sight of Harry.

With the swish of a compartment door, a boy with pale, sleeked back hair and icy blue eyes, a few inches shorter than Liz, came out of a room. He eyed her coolly and she sent him a smile so small you would need a microscope to see it there. "Draco." She stated, with a taunting tilt of her equally pale head. "Seen Harry?" Liz asked in a tight voice, obviously trying to control her impatience.

"I might've... But even if I did, what on earth would make you think I would tell my blood traitor of a sister where he went?" Draco asked, glaring into Liz's icy eyes.

"Um, because I have a wand?" Liz replied, in a failed attempt of a threat. Her brother sent her a look of mock fear, then rolled his eyes and started to laugh. "I also have a fist." Liz threatened holding up her pale knuckles inches away from her brother's face. She was not in the mood for his stupid games...

"I dunno, honest!" Draco protested, backing against a compartment door, trying to get as far away from Liz's fist as possible. "Last I saw him he was walking towards the back of the train wearing some tacky necklace!" A severely confused Liz slapped her brother across the face. She was in a rather merciful mood, it being the first day of term and all, so it wasn't that hard of a slap, just enough to make Draco run back into his compartment in fear.

"The little goblin..." Liz murmered under her breath, before grabbing Evan by the arm and pulling her further into the train, wondering why on earth Harry had passed them, and what strange force had possessed her apparently 'un-feminine' male friend into wearing a necklace.
((BTW, I am a TOTAL Zutara fan... It would be awesome if we could do an Avatar rp possibly after this epic one is over))

((Haha that's alright X3 and that would be AMAZING!))

"Why on earth would Harry be wearing a necklace?" Evan wondered, allowing Liz to pull her down the hallway. Her white Converse trainers made no noise against the sparsely carpeted floor. She idly tossed a wavy lock of orange hair behind her back, looking into the compartments as they passed them. She saw Fred and George inside one and immediately made a face at them. Evan could hear them laugh as they moved onto the next car.

"He's not one for jewelry," she said, laughing. It really struck her as weird, all joking aside. Harry always sat with them, no matter what. He was never comfortable around many other people, besides maybe a select few. Her brows furrowed as she thought about it. What was going on? She started to worry, seeing as she was a hypochondriac. "I hope he's okay," she murmured to herself, worrying her bottom lip.

Liz zoomed past the compartments, pulling Evan so hard she was surprised her friend's arm hadn't fallen off by now. They were nearly in the back of the train when Liz caught sight of a glimmering object left haphazardly on a chair in an empty compartment. She ripped open the door and yanked Evan inside. Once closer, Liz could see that the strange thing was a necklace, with a little spinny hourglass inside the bottom part. She laughed, her arctic blue eyes completely not seeing the crumpled note beside it with Harry's spidery handwriting. "So this was the thing Harry was walking around in?" Liz asked. "I see why Draco thought it was tacky..."

Evan rubbed her shoulder. "Jeeze Liz, trying to pop my arm out of socket?" she asked, laughing. She looked at the necklace, picking it up. She held it by the golden chain and looked at the hourglass. She noticed a tiny dial and started messing with it. "It has a knob that turns on it, like a pocket watch," she told Liz, still winding it. The chain slipped from her loose fingers and it fell onto the floor of the train car, the glass of it shattering into a thousand glittering shards. She looked at Liz, wide eyed.

"Harry is going to kill us," she said, just as a spinning light surrounded them.

Liz held her breath and slammed her eyes shut as a jolt of electricity rushed through her body. She could swear she was flying but by the time she had the courage to re-open her eyes, Liz and Evan appeared to by in the exact compartment where they were just a few seconds ago, except now, there were four boys inside, all staring at the two girls with wide eyes and gaping mouths. Liz scanned the compartment they had landed themselves in. The boys seemed to be in their sixth year as well and were still in their muggle clothes, which Liz thought was immensely irresponsible since the train should be reaching Hogwarts soon. They all looked fairly shocked, one of them, a thin sickly looking boy with a few scars across his face and deep dark brown eyes, even appeared to have fallen out of his seat and onto the candy-wrapper littered ground. "Man these guys are a bunch of pigs." Liz thought, disgusted by the fact that empty boxes of bertie bot's every flavored beans and melted chocolate frogs completely coated the ground. One of the boys, a tall, gangly boy with overgrown black hair, dancing grey eyes, and a Gryffindor tie tied around his head, cracked some joke about fallen angels, but Liz was too shocked by the situation to respond. Plus, she really doubted she was missing anything hilarious, despite the fact that a third boy, with a full head of blonde hair and watery blue eyes, cracked up like an egg split on a frying pan. The final boy flashed a wide grin to the one with the tie around his head, and Liz realized with a jolt, that he looked almost exactly like Harry. He had the same untidy black hair, scrawny stature, and awful eyesight (Liz once convinced Harry into letting her borrow his glasses, she still refuses to let go the fact that he 'nearly blinded her', she still didn't trust glasses) Except this boy had a spoiled look to him, a look that almost reminded Liz of her obnoixious twin brother, his eyes were a stunning shade of hazel, and, like his friend with the head-tie, they glimmered with mischief. "Great..." Liz thought, exasperated. "Trust my luck to land Evan and I in the compartment of the pranksters." The bizarre thing though, was that Evan's older brothers already held the title for school mischief makers, but Liz could tell from the look of these guys that they had a definite mischievious look to them. She looked over at Evan, half expecting her to recognize the four boys, but the look on her friend's face told her otherwise.

"You look like Harry," Evan blurted, staring at the black haired boy. She marched over to him, stepping over the 6th year strewn about the floor and poked his cheek. She then ruffled his hair and finally, Evan tugged his ears. He was looking at her as if she'd just sprouted wings out of her head. He was trying to say something, but only ended up spluttering incoherently. Definitely like Harry she thought, staring at the boys. Her eyes turned to boy on the floor, and she squatted down, tugging a strand of his sandy colored locks. She ran a finger down his scar, cocking her head to the side.

No had ever said Evangeline Weasely was the most tactful person in the world.

"This is weird. He looks like Professor Lupin" she announced to Liz, standing up. She squished Peters chubby cheeks and he turned pink, muttering something. Finally it was the other black haired boys turn, and Evan quashed his face with the palms of her hands. Once she was done with that, she walked back to Liz and took a spot beside her. She put a finger on her chin, as if she were assessing all the information she'd gathered after assaulting the four boys with her hands.

"I haven't the slightest idea what's going on," she announced to Liz, putting her hands on her hips, jutting them to one side.
***No one

((Okay, so in the process of this, are you thinking you want your character to have any romantic affiliation with any of the marauders? If so, tell me so I don't steal them in the next thing I write... Because believe me, I daydream about these boys all the time... :smile 2:))

Liz rolled her eyes and laughed, after Evan's bizarre display, there was no doubt the boys on the train now thought they were the most insane people in the world, to be perfectly honest though, Liz didn't care. "I have no idea either." She replied, deliberately deciding to ignore the bewildered looks on the boys faces in the room. "Although, to be perfectly honest-" Liz started, but one of the boys, the one with the long black shaggy hair cut her off. "You guys realize you just popped out of nowhere, right?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. Liz sent him her famous death glare, she hated it when people interrupted her. She was just about to yell at the four of them the whole story about the spinning necklace and stuff, when she remembered what Dumbledore had warned them a while ago, about never being seen while tampering with time, (because she was pretty sure by now that necklace was a time turner, that possibly took them back a few months ago, maybe on the train ride home from last year or something else innocent and easily fixed like that) and not letting yourself be seen... "Oops" Liz thought, but she figured it would still be better not to tell people they came from the future. The boys looked over at her questioningly, and Liz glanced over to Evan, desperate now for an answer to give them.

((I feel you. I've done the same thing xD Hmm...I think I'll choose Remus, if you don't want him desperately. Are there any you have an eye on?))

Evan scrambled for an answer. "We were practicing our Apparation," she said, glancing at Liz nervously. Did she ever mention she was a horrid liar? "And we went to the wrong compartment," Evan thought her explanation was ingenious and practically fullproof, until James looked at her oddly. "But we've never seen you at Hogwarts," he told her, raising a single black brow at them. Evan faltered for a second.

"We're exchange students! From, err-St. Brutus' Academy of Magic," she remembered Harry mentioning his Uncle Dursley using that as a cover up. Why not take his lead? The watery eyed boy and Sirius seemed content with that, but Harry's Clone and the Professor Lupin Look-Alike seemed a bit sceptical. Evan seemed to be peicing things together.

Okay. They broke a necklace with an hourglass on it and ended up in a compartment with two someones who looked like people they knew. They were in Gryffindor. Evan frowned as she tried to connect the puzzle pieces. Had they...gone in the past? She mentally shook her head. That wasn't even possible, not with the necklace-which she now realized was a Time-Turner-or with anything. But Evan did break it. Had that ever happened before? Had they actially time travelled? This all hurt her head, and she groaned inside her head.
