Yep. And it depends, like, if it's going to stall the story in a way that the bad guy can't get what he wants then, if the character cannot do the alternative, like giving up Sunny, then that character will die if there's no way around it but that. Right now, they are after Luthien, they are not sure where it is, so it's probable they wont let the four die until it's found.
