Answered How to create a new rp

Hey its great that the update went well! However, I do not know how to make a new rp with the new/old site layout. Can anyone help me?

HP creation is currently disabled. We're looking into a new addon for them and that will bring new guidelines for being able to create one, so we've just turned creation off at present. As for using them, they're basically like mini-forums.

Creating a new non-HP RP should work the same as before the update. Just go into the appropriate section (1x1, Fandom, etc.) and click Post New Thread, and there you are! Though I suggest an interest check thread first to make sure you'll have players that suit you.

I tried making a group rp but it didn't link up to other parts of the rp like OOC and extras. I have no idea what im doing wrong lol

You will need to create those as separate threads. Tabs will not arrive until the xenForo software itself has updated.

Later this year sometime. My understanding is that they are hoping for August, but it could be much later.

Kaerri so what your saying is soon Hosted projects will return and hopefully with a smoother format like the old last update how everything was menu style where it linked you to each forum and made everything relatively smooth and easy to follow along with the menu icons and such?

Also will there be a way to transfer ownership of hosted projects from one original owner to a new owner? Im currenty trying to do this and i cant find out where and how?
