How should I go about finding DMed RPs?

New to this site. I'm not really interested at all in the more free-form RPs, I really just want an RP with a DM, preferably one where I'm either not forced to be in a party with other players or where it's just a one-on-one thing. It's been really difficult for me to find a DM RP that isn't based on something that already exists (like DnD), so maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place?

You can always specify in your 1x1 partner search that you're looking for a two-person session with dice-supported play wherein your partner fills the role of DM. c: You can also post in Dice with the same thing. It might take some time, as most DMs don't necessarily want to put all that work into one person they don't really know, if that makes sense.

I honestly think you'll have more luck if you do venture out of your comfort zone a little and do some group campaigns. A lot of roleplay is networking, finding people you work well with.
