hey there, newish member here whos still kinda figuring the pages out! I see people using dice in the dice rp section, is it limited to that section only? I can't seem to use it in my private workshop!

It is enabled in Private Workshop.

You need to make a post, then Edit your post and you will see a small button "Throw dice" under the post area.
