How do I find out my password without changing it?

Essentially, I set my laptop and phone so that they would stay logged in, but my phone went crazy and I had to take out the memory card at one point, so now in my phone, it´s logged out...and I can`t remember where I wrote the password down. I don`t want to have to change the password again, so I was wondering if I could find out my password in my laptop (where I´m still logged in)?

You might have to renew your password as we can't even see what it is.

If you are using Google Chrome, you can go to the browser's settings (top right hand corner menu), scroll all the way down, show advanced settings, then manage saved passwords. It should allow you to see the passwords you have saved.

unfortunately I am not using chrome.

Unfortunately, there is no way to retrieve it. Even Administrators can't see user's passwords (for obvious reasons).

Which browser are you using? Safari and Firefox have similar features, too.

I think you might be confused (or maybe it is me), but as far as I've come to understand, Chrome is the web browser. You might just be confusing it with the search engine. An explanation can be seen in this article. I would try to find the settings that I mentioned above if you're really wishing to keep the same password. If not, you may have to reset it.
